The king of Israel had spoken to his officials. He had said,“ Don’t you know that Ramoth Gilead belongs to us? And we aren’t even doing anything to take it back from the king of Aram.”

以色列王对臣仆说：“你们不知道基列的拉末是属我们的吗？我们岂可静坐不动，不从亚兰王手里夺回来吗？”

以色列王对臣仆说：“你们不知道基列的拉末是属我们的吗？我们岂可不采取行动，把它从亚兰王手里夺回来呢？”

以色列王对臣仆说：“你们不知道基列的拉末是属我们的吗？我们岂可不采取行动，把它从亚兰王手里夺回来呢？”

以色列王对臣仆说：“你们都知道基列的拉末是我们的领土，我们岂能坐视不理，不从亚兰王手中夺回来呢？”

以色列王对他的臣仆说：“你们知道吗？基列的拉末原属于我们，我们怎可静坐不动，不把它从亚兰王的手中夺回来呢？”

以色列王對臣僕說：「你們不知道基列的拉末是屬我們的嗎？我們豈可靜坐不動，不從亞蘭王手裏奪回來嗎？」

以色列王對臣僕說：「你們不知道基列的拉末是屬我們的嗎？我們豈可不採取行動，把它從亞蘭王手裏奪回來呢？」

以色列王對臣僕說：「你們不知道基列的拉末是屬我們的嗎？我們豈可不採取行動，把它從亞蘭王手裏奪回來呢？」

以色列王對臣僕說：「你們都知道基列的拉末是我們的領土，我們豈能坐視不理，不從亞蘭王手中奪回來呢？」

以色列王對他的臣僕說：“你們知道嗎？基列的拉末原屬於我們，我們怎可靜坐不動，不把它從亞蘭王的手中奪回來呢？”

以色列王對臣僕說：『你們不知道基列的拉末是屬於我們的麼？我們，我們怎可靜坐不動、不從亞蘭王手裏奪回來呢？』

以色列王謂其臣僕曰、爾豈不知基列拉末屬我、我乃寂然、不奪之於亞蘭王手乎、

以色列王謂其臣曰、基列之喇末、豈非屬我、爾志何怠、不圖進取、奪於亞蘭王之手乎。

以色列王謂其臣僕曰、基列之拉末屬我儕、爾曹豈不知乎、我儕豈可寂然無事、不往奪於亞蘭王之手乎、

The king of Israel had said to his officials,“ Don’t you know that Ramoth Gilead belongs to us and yet we are doing nothing to retake it from the king of Aram?”

And the king of Israel said to his servants,“ Do you know that Ramoth-gilead belongs to us, and we keep quiet and do not take it out of the hand of the king of Syria?”

During the visit, the king of Israel said to his officials,“ Do you realize that the town of Ramoth gilead belongs to us? And yet we’ve done nothing to recapture it from the king of Aram!”

The king of Israel had said to his servants,“ Don’t you know that Ramoth-gilead is ours, but we’re doing nothing to take it from the king of Aram?”

Now the king of Israel said to his servants,“ Are you aware that Ramoth gilead belongs to us, yet we are hesitant to take it out of the hand of the king of Aram?”

And the king of Israel said to his servants,“ Do you know that Ramoth in Gilead is ours, but we hesitate to take it out of the hand of the king of Syria?”

And the king of Israel said unto his servants, Know ye that Ramoth- gilead is ours, and we are still, and take it not out of the hand of the king of Syria?

The king of Israel had said to his servants,“ Don’t you know that Ramoth-gilead is ours, but we have failed to take it from the hand of the king of Aram?”

And the king of Israel said unto his servants, Know ye that Ramoth in Gilead[ is] ours, and we[ be] still,[ and] take it not out of the hand of the king of Syria?

The king of Israel said to his servants,“ Surely you recognize that Ramoth Gilead belongs to us, though we are hesitant to reclaim it from the king of Syria.”

The king of Israel said to his servants,“ You know that Ramoth Gilead is ours, and we do nothing, and don’t take it out of the hand of the king of Syria?”

Here are the names of the cities. Bezer was for the people of Reuben. It was in the high plains in the desert. Ramoth was for the people of Gad. It was in Gilead. Golan was for the people of Manasseh. It was in Bashan.

From the tribe of Gad they received Ramoth in Gilead. Ramoth was a city where anyone charged with murder could go for safety. They also received Mahanaim,

Ben- Geber’s area was Ramoth Gilead. The settlements of Jair, the son of Manasseh, were included in his area in Gilead. The area of Argob in Bashan was also included. That area had 60 large cities that had high walls around them. The city gates were made secure with heavy bronze bars.

The people of Gaza were told,“ Samson is here!” So they surrounded the place. They hid and waited for him at the city gate all night long. They didn’t make any move against him during the night. They said,“ Let’s wait until the sun comes up. Then we’ll kill him.”

We anointed Absalom to rule over us. But he has died in battle. So why aren’t any of you talking about bringing the king back?”

On the east side of the Jordan River near Jericho they chose Bezer. It’s in the desert on the high plains. It’s in the territory of the tribe of Reuben. They chose Ramoth in Gilead. It’s in the territory of the tribe of Gad. They chose Golan in the land of Bashan. It’s in the territory of the tribe of Manasseh.
