所罗门说：“你仆人我父亲大卫以诚实、公义和正直的心在你面前行事为人，你就以极大的慈爱待他；你又为他存留这极大的慈爱，赐给他一个儿子坐在他的王位上，正如今日一样。

所罗门说：“你仆人我父亲大卫用诚实、公义、正直的心行在你面前，你就向他大施恩典，又为他存留大恩，赐他一个儿子坐在他的位上，正如今日一样。

所罗门说：“你曾向你仆人我父亲大卫大施慈爱，因为他用忠信、公义、正直的心行在你面前。你又为他存留大慈爱，赐他一个儿子坐在他的王位上，正如今日一样。

所罗门说：“你曾向你仆人我父亲大卫大施慈爱，因为他用忠信、公义、正直的心行在你面前。你又为他存留大慈爱，赐他一个儿子坐在他的王位上，正如今日一样。

所罗门说：“你的仆人——我父大卫本着诚实、公义、正直的心在你面前行事，你就向他大施恩慈，并且一如既往地以厚恩待他，让他儿子今天继承他的王位。

所羅門說：「你僕人－我父親大衛用誠實、公義、正直的心行在你面前，你就向他大施恩典，又為他存留大恩，賜他一個兒子坐在他的位上，正如今日一樣。

所羅門說：「你曾向你僕人我父親大衛大施慈愛，因為他用忠信、公義、正直的心行在你面前。你又為他存留大慈愛，賜他一個兒子坐在他的王位上，正如今日一樣。

所羅門說：「你的僕人——我父大衛本著誠實、公義、正直的心在你面前行事，你就向他大施恩慈，並且一如既往地以厚恩待他，讓他兒子今天繼承他的王位。

所羅門說：“你僕人我父親大衛以誠實、公義和正直的心在你面前行事為人，你就以極大的慈愛待他；你又為他存留這極大的慈愛，賜給他一個兒子坐在他的王位上，正如今日一樣。

所羅門說：『你僕人我父親大衛怎樣以忠信、公義、正直的心、與你同在、行於你面前，你就怎樣向他施大而堅固的愛，又將這大而堅固的愛留給他，賜給他一個兒子坐他的王位，正如今日一樣。

所羅門曰、昔爾僕我父大衛、以誠實公義中正、行於爾前、爾循是而施以鴻恩、復加厚惠、賜之一子、踐乎其位、有如今日、

所羅門曰、昔我父大闢、真實無妄、行善為義於爾前、爾施厚恩、使子繼其位、今日之事為證。

所羅門曰、主之僕我父大衛以誠實善義正心、行於主前、主向之施鴻恩、又為之存此大恩、使其子繼繼原文作坐其位、有如今日、

Solomon answered,“ You have shown great kindness to your servant, my father David, because he was faithful to you and righteous and upright in heart. You have continued this great kindness to him and have given him a son to sit on his throne this very day.

Solomon answered,“ You have been very kind to my father David, your servant. That’s because he was faithful to you. He did what was right. His heart was honest. And you have continued to be very kind to him. You have given him a son to sit on his throne this day.

And Solomon said,“ You have shown great and steadfast love to your servant David my father, because he walked before you in faithfulness, in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart toward you. And you have kept for him this great and steadfast love and have given him a son to sit on his throne this day.

Solomon replied,“ You showed great and faithful love to your servant my father, David, because he was honest and true and faithful to you. And you have continued to show this great and faithful love to him today by giving him a son to sit on his throne.

And Solomon replied,“ You have shown great and faithful love to your servant, my father David, because he walked before you in faithfulness, righteousness, and integrity. You have continued this great and faithful love for him by giving him a son to sit on his throne, as it is today.

Then Solomon said,“ You have shown great faithfulness to Your servant David my father, according as he walked before You in truth, righteousness, and uprightness of heart toward You; and You have reserved for him this great faithfulness, that You have given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.

And Solomon said:“ You have shown great mercy to Your servant David my father, because he walked before You in truth, in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with You; You have continued this great kindness for him, and You have given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.

And Solomon said, Thou hast showed unto thy servant David my father great lovingkindness, according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast kept for him this great lovingkindness, that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.

And Solomon replied,“ You have shown great and faithful love to Your servant, my father David, because he walked before You in faithfulness, righteousness, and integrity. You have continued this great and faithful love for him by giving him a son to sit on his throne, as it is today.

And Solomon said, Thou hast shewed unto thy servant David my father great mercy, according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast kept for him this great kindness, that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as[ it is] this day.

Solomon replied,“ You demonstrated great loyalty to your servant, my father David, as he served you faithfully, properly, and sincerely. You have maintained this great loyalty to this day by allowing his son to sit on his throne.

Solomon said,“ You have shown to your servant David my father great loving kindness, because he walked before you in truth, in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with you. You have kept for him this great loving kindness, that you have given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is today.

王又这样说：‘耶和华以色列的神是应当称颂的，因为他今天赐了一人坐在我的王位上，也使我亲眼看见这事。’”

至于你，如果你像你父亲大卫那样，存诚实和正直的心在我面前行事为人，遵行我一切所吩咐你的，谨守我的律例和典章，

这样，耶和华必坚立他所说有关我的话，说：‘如果你的子孙谨慎自己所行的，一心一意、诚诚实实行在我面前，就不断有人坐以色列的王位了。’

就是行为完全，作事公义，心里说诚实话的人。

现在你要对我的仆人大卫这样说：‘万军之耶和华这样说：我把你从牧场中、从照顾羊群的工作中拣选出来，使你作我子民以色列的领袖，你无论到哪里去，我都与你同在；我必在你面前剪除你所有的仇敌。我要使你得享大名，像世上那些伟人的名一样。我要为我的子民以色列选定一个地方，栽培他们，使他们住自己的地方，不再受骚扰；恶人也不能再像以前那样苦待他们，像我立了士师治理我的子民以色列的那天以来那样。我要使你安享太平，不受你所有的仇敌侵扰。耶和华向你宣告，耶和华要亲自为你建立一个朝代。到了你的寿数满足，你与你的列祖一起长眠的时候，我必兴起你亲生的后裔接替你，并且我要坚固他的国。

耶和华是永活的，我的磐石是应当称颂的；拯救我的神，我的磐石，是应当被尊为至高的。他是那位为我伸冤的神，他使万民服在我的脚下，他救我脱离我的仇敌。你还把我高举起来，高过那些起来攻击我的人，又救我脱离了强暴的人。因此，耶和华啊，我要在列国中称赞你，歌颂你的名。耶和华赐极大的救恩给他所立的王，又向他的受膏者施慈爱，就是向大卫和他的后裔施慈爱，直到永远。”

耶和华按着我的公义报答我，照着我手中的清洁回报我。因为我谨守了耶和华的道，未曾作恶离开我的神。因为他的一切典章常摆在我面前，他的律例，我未曾丢弃。我在他面前作完全的人，我也谨慎自己，脱离我的罪孽。所以耶和华按着我的公义，照着我在他眼前手中的清洁回报我。

富足和尊荣都从你而来，你也统治万有。在你的手里有力量和权能；人的尊大、强盛都是出于你的手。我们的神啊，现在我们要称颂你，赞美你荣耀的名。我算什么？我的人民又算什么？竟有力量这样乐意奉献？因为万物都是从你而来，我们只是把从你手里得来的，奉献给你。

拿单对大卫说：“你就是那人！耶和华以色列的神这样说：‘我膏立了你作以色列的王，把你从扫罗的手里救了出来，把你主人的家赐给你，把你主人的妻妾交在你怀里，又把以色列和犹大家赐给你。如果太少了，我还可以多多加给你。

因此，我认为必须劝那几位弟兄先到你们那里去，使你们事先筹足从前所答应的捐款。那么，你们这样的准备，就是出于乐意的，不是勉强的。

我的心哪！你要回复安宁，因为耶和华用厚恩待你。

可是，对我的仆人摩西却不是这样，他是在我全家忠心的。

“唉，耶和华啊！求你记念我曾怎样以真诚和完全的心在你面前行事为人，我所行的都是你看为善的事。”希西家就痛哭起来。

求你恩待你的仆人，使我可以活着，也可以谨守你的话。

“你去对我的仆人大卫说：耶和华这样说：‘你要建造一座殿宇给我居住吗？

你们既然凡事富裕，就可以慷慨地捐输，使众人藉着我们，对神生出感谢的心。

我要歌颂耶和华，因他以厚恩待我。（本章第5~6节在《马索拉文本》为13:6）

他拣选了自己的仆人大卫，把他从羊圈中召出来；他领他出来，使他不再跟着那些母羊，却要牧养他的子民雅各，和他的产业以色列。于是大卫以正直的心牧养他们，灵巧地引导他们。

因为除了赫人乌利亚那事以外，大卫都行耶和华看为正的事，一生之中从来没有偏离耶和华所吩咐他的一切。
