God gave Solomon wisdom and very great insight, and a breadth of understanding as measureless as the sand on the seashore.

God made Solomon very wise. His understanding couldn’t even be measured. It was like the sand on the seashore. People can’t measure that either.

And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding beyond measure, and breadth of mind like the sand on the seashore,

你們中間若有人缺少智慧，就當向那厚賜眾人，而且不斥責人的神祈求，他就必得著。

以色列眾人聽見王判斷的這案件，就都敬畏他，因為看見他心裡有神的智慧，能夠判案。

至於從天上來的智慧，首先是純潔的，其次是和平的，溫柔的，謙遜的，滿有恩慈和善果，沒有偏袒，沒有虛偽。

現在求你賜我智慧和知識，使我可以領導這人民；否則，誰能治理你這眾多的人民呢？”神對所羅門說：“你既然有這個心意：不求富足、財產、尊榮，也不求你敵人的性命，又不求長壽，只為自己求智慧和知識，好治理我的子民，就是我立你作王統治的人民，因此，智慧和知識必賜給你，我也把富足、財產和尊榮賜給你；在你以前的列王從沒有這樣，在你以後的也必沒有這樣。”

那時，你看見了，就必有光彩，你的心又驚訝又寬暢；因為大海的財富都必轉來歸你，列國的財富也都歸你。

因為耶和華賜人智慧，知識和聰明都出自他的口。

所羅門王的財富和智慧，超過了世界上所有的君王。世上所有的人都要求晉見所羅門，聆聽神賦予他心中的智慧。

各樣美好的賞賜，各樣完備的恩賜，都是從上面、從眾光之父降下來的，他本身並沒有改變，也沒有轉動的影子。

求你賜我悟性，我好遵守你的律法，我必一心謹守。

神把智慧、知識和喜樂賜給他所喜悅的人，卻使罪人作收集和積聚的差事，把所得的歸給神所喜悅的人。這也是虛空，也是捕風。

那時米甸人、亞瑪力人和所有的東方人，都散布在平原上，好像蝗蟲那麼多；他們的駱駝無數，好像海邊的沙那麼多。

約瑟積蓄了極多的五穀，好像海沙那樣多，甚至他不再記下數量，因為實在無法計算。

我卻必使我僕人大衛的後裔和事奉我的利未人增多，像天上的萬象不能數算、海邊的沙粒不能斗量。’”

他們定著臉面向前，齊來行暴，擄獲戰俘多如塵沙。

我自己心裡說：“我得了極大的智慧，勝過所有在我以前統治耶路撒冷的人；我見識了許多智慧與知識。”
