God gave Solomon wisdom and very great insight, and a breadth of understanding as measureless as the sand on the seashore.

God made Solomon very wise. His understanding couldn’t even be measured. It was like the sand on the seashore. People can’t measure that either.

And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding beyond measure, and breadth of mind like the sand on the seashore,

你們中間若有缺少智慧的，應當求那厚賜與眾人、也不斥責人的神，主就必賜給他。

以色列眾人聽見王這樣判斷，就都敬畏他；因為見他心裏有神的智慧，能以斷案。

惟獨從上頭來的智慧，先是清潔，後是和平，溫良柔順，滿有憐憫，多結善果，沒有偏見，沒有假冒。

求你賜我智慧聰明，我好在這民前出入；不然，誰能判斷這眾多的民呢？」神對所羅門說：「我已立你作我民的王。你既有這心意，並不求資財、豐富、尊榮，也不求滅絕那恨你之人的性命，又不求大壽數，只求智慧聰明好判斷我的民；我必賜你智慧聰明，也必賜你資財、豐富、尊榮。在你以前的列王都沒有這樣，在你以後也必沒有這樣的。」

那時，你看見就有光榮；你心又跳動又寬暢；因為大海豐盛的貨物必轉來歸你；列國的財寶也必來歸你。

因為，耶和華賜人智慧；知識和聰明都由他口而出。

所羅門王的財寶與智慧勝過天下的列王。普天下的王都求見所羅門，要聽神賜給他智慧的話。

各樣美善的恩賜和各樣全備的賞賜都是從上頭來的，從眾光之父那裏降下來的；在他並沒有改變，也沒有轉動的影兒。

求你賜我悟性，我便遵守你的律法，且要一心遵守。

神喜悅誰，就給誰智慧、知識，和喜樂；惟有罪人，神使他勞苦，叫他將所收聚的、所堆積的歸給神所喜悅的人。這也是虛空，也是捕風。

米甸人、亞瑪力人，和一切東方人都布散在平原，如同蝗蟲那樣多。他們的駱駝無數，多如海邊的沙。

約瑟積蓄五穀甚多，如同海邊的沙，無法計算，因為穀不可勝數。

天上的萬象不能數算，海邊的塵沙也不能斗量；我必照樣使我僕人大衛的後裔和事奉我的利未人多起來。」

都為行強暴而來，定住臉面向前，將擄掠的人聚集，多如塵沙。

我心裏議論說：我得了大智慧，勝過我以前在耶路撒冷的眾人，而且我心中多經歷智慧和知識的事。
