And, behold, I purpose to build an house unto the name of the LORD my God, as the LORD spake unto David my father, saying, Thy son, whom I will set upon thy throne in thy room, he shall build an house unto my name.

我定意要为耶和华我神的名建殿，是照耶和华应许我父亲大卫的话说：‘我必使你儿子接续你坐你的位，他必为我的名建殿。’

我心裏就說要為永恆主我的上帝的名建殿，照永恆主對我父親大衛所說過的話，說：「你那兒子、我所要設立來接替你坐你位上的、是他才要為我的名來建殿。」

我決志為我上帝耶和華之名建室、應耶和華諭我父大衛之言曰、我將使爾子繼爾踐位、彼必為我名建室、

我欲建殿、籲我上帝耶和華名、應耶和華告我父大闢之言、曰、我將使爾子繼位、彼必建殿、以籲我名。

我欲為主我天主之名建殿、應主許我父大衛之言云、我將使爾子繼爾之位、彼必為我名建殿、

I intend, therefore, to build a temple for the Name of the Lord my God, as the Lord told my father David, when he said,‘ Your son whom I will put on the throne in your place will build the temple for my Name.’

So I’m planning to build a temple. I want to build it for the Name of the Lord my God. That’s what he told my father David he wanted me to do. He said,‘ I will put your son on the throne in your place. He will build a temple. I will put my Name there.’

And so I intend to build a house for the name of the Lord my God, as the Lord said to David my father,‘ Your son, whom I will set on your throne in your place, shall build the house for my name.’

So I am planning to build a Temple to honor the name of the Lord my God, just as he had instructed my father, David. For the Lord told him,‘ Your son, whom I will place on your throne, will build the Temple to honor my name.’

So I plan to build a temple for the name of the LORD my God, according to what the LORD promised my father David:‘ I will put your son on your throne in your place, and he will build the temple for my name.’

So behold, I intend to build a house for the name of the Lord my God, just as the Lord spoke to David my father, saying,‘ Your son, whom I will put on your throne in your place, he will build the house for My name.’

And behold, I propose to build a house for the name of the Lord my God, as the Lord spoke to my father David, saying,“ Your son, whom I will set on your throne in your place, he shall build the house for My name.”

And, behold, I purpose to build a house for the name of Jehovah my God, as Jehovah spake unto David my father, saying, Thy son, whom I will set upon thy throne in thy room, he shall build the house for my name.

So I plan to build a temple for the name of Yahweh my God, according to what the Lord promised my father David:‘ I will put your son on your throne in your place, and he will build the temple for My name.’

So I have decided to build a temple to honor the LORD my God, as the LORD instructed my father David,‘ Your son, whom I will put on your throne in your place, is the one who will build a temple to honor me.’

Behold, I intend to build a house for the name of Yahweh my God, as Yahweh spoke to David my father, saying,‘ Your son, whom I will set on your throne in your place shall build the house for my name.’

He shall build me an house, and I will stablish his throne for ever.

He shall build an house for my name; and he shall be my son, and I[ will be] his father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel for ever.

And he said unto me, Solomon thy son, he shall build my house and my courts: for I have chosen him[ to be] my son, and I will be his father.

And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom.He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever.

And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name[ is] The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD:Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

Take heed now; for the LORD hath chosen thee to build an house for the sanctuary: be strong, and do[ it].

And Solomon determined to build an house for the name of the LORD, and an house for his kingdom.And Solomon told out threescore and ten thousand men to bear burdens, and fourscore thousand to hew in the mountain, and three thousand and six hundred to oversee them.And Solomon sent to Huram the king of Tyre, saying, As thou didst deal with David my father, and didst send him cedars to build him an house to dwell therein,[ even so deal with me].Behold, I build an house to the name of the LORD my God, to dedicate[ it] to him,[ and] to burn before him sweet incense, and for the continual shewbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts of the LORD our God. This[ is an ordinance] for ever to Israel.And the house which I build[ is] great: for great[ is] our God above all gods.But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who[ am] I then, that I should build him an house, save only to burn sacrifice before him?Send me now therefore a man cunning to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in iron, and in purple, and crimson, and blue, and that can skill to grave with the cunning men that[ are] with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David my father did provide.Send me also cedar trees, fir trees, and algum trees, out of Lebanon: for I know that thy servants can skill to cut timber in Lebanon; and, behold, my servants[ shall be] with thy servants,
