耶路撒冷和猶大的鍋都是萬軍之耶和華的聖物，來獻祭的人都可以用這些鍋煮祭肉。到那天，萬軍之耶和華的殿中必再也沒有商人。

對民眾不守自己做祭司的職分。每當民眾來獻祭，還在煮祭肉的時候，他們的僕人便拿著三齒叉來，從罐裡、鼎裡、釜裡或鍋裡插肉，把插上來的祭肉據為己有。他們這樣對待所有到示羅來的以色列人。

摩西對亞倫父子們說：「你們要照我的指示在會幕門口煮祭肉吃，也要吃籃子裡為授聖職而獻的餅。

他對我說：「這是祭司煮贖過祭牲、贖罪祭牲和烤素祭的地方。他們在這裡烤煮，免得把聖肉帶到外院，以致把聖潔傳到百姓身上。」他又領我到外院，巡察外院的四個角落。我看見院中每個角落都有一個小庭院，每個庭院的四周都有圍牆，長二十米，寬十五米，四角的庭院大小都一樣。每個庭院的牆周圍都有一排石屋，屋裡有爐灶。他對我說：「這是聖殿的僕役替百姓煮祭物的地方。」
