他照所定的样式造十个金灯台，放在殿里：五个在右边，五个在左边。

我问天使说：“那么在灯台左右的这两棵橄榄树是什么意思呢？”我再次问他：“这两根橄榄树枝在两根流出金色油的金嘴旁边，是什么意思呢？”他对我说：“你不知道这是什么意思吗？”我说：“主啊，我不知道。”他说：“这是两位受膏者，侍立在全地之主的旁边。”

“你要造一座用纯金锤出的灯台。灯台的座、干、杯、花萼和花瓣，都要和灯台接连一块。灯台两旁要伸出六根枝子：这边三根，那边三根。这边枝子上有三个杯，形状像杏花，有花萼有花瓣；那边枝子上也有三个杯，形状像杏花，有花萼有花瓣。从灯台伸出来的六根枝子都是如此。灯台本身要有四个杯，形状像杏花，有花萼有花瓣。灯台的第一对枝子下面有花萼，灯台的第二对枝子下面有花萼，灯台的第三对枝子下面也有花萼；灯台伸出的六根枝子都是如此。花萼和枝子都要和灯台接连一块，全是从一块纯金锤出来的。要做灯台的七盏灯，灯要点燃，照亮前面。要用纯金做灯剪和灯盘。做灯台和这一切的器具要用一他连得纯金。要谨慎，照着在山上指示你的样式去做。”

他把灯台安在会幕内，在帐幕的南边，供桌的对面，并在耶和华面前点灯，是照耶和华所吩咐摩西的。

你们是世上的光。城造在山上是不能隐藏的。人点灯，不放在斗底下，而是放在灯台上，就照亮一家的人。你们的光也要这样照在人前，叫他们看见你们的好行为，把荣耀归给你们在天上的父。”
