King Solomon gave twenty towns in Galilee to Hiram king of Tyre, because Hiram had supplied him with all the cedar and juniper and gold he wanted.

King Solomon gave 20 towns in Galilee to Hiram, the king of Tyre. That’s because Hiram had provided him with all the cedar and juniper logs he wanted. He had also provided Solomon with all the gold he wanted.

and Hiram king of Tyre had supplied Solomon with cedar and cypress timber and gold, as much as he desired, King Solomon gave to Hiram twenty cities in the land of Galilee.

所羅門又修築希蘭送給他的那些城市，使以色列人住在那裡。

現在請你命令人從黎巴嫩為我砍伐香柏木；我的僕人要與你的僕人一起工作；至於你的僕人的工資，我必按照你所說的付給你，因為你也知道，我們中間沒有人像西頓人那樣善於砍伐樹木。”希蘭聽見了所羅門的話，就十分歡喜，說：“今天耶和華是應當稱頌的，因為他賜給了大衛一個有智慧的兒子治理這麼眾多的人民。”於是希蘭派遣人去見所羅門，說：“你派人來向我所傳的消息，我都聽到了。關於香柏木和松木的事，你心所願的，我都照辦。我的僕人要把這些木材從黎巴嫩運下海中；我會把木材紮成木筏，從海上運到你指定我的地方去。我在那裡把木材拆開，你就可以運走。你也要成全我的心願，用糧食供應我家。”於是希蘭照所羅門所想要的，供給他香柏木和松木。

我們必照著你所需要的，從黎巴嫩砍下樹木，紮成木筏，從海上運到約帕，你可以從那裡把它們運上耶路撒冷。”

又請你從黎巴嫩運送香柏木、松木和檀香木到我這裡來，因為我知道你的臣僕善於砍伐黎巴嫩的樹木；我的臣僕可以和你的臣僕一同工作。給我預備大量的木材，因為我要建造的那殿宇，將會十分宏偉。至於你的僕人，就是砍伐樹木的人，我必給他們食物，就是小麥四百萬公升、大麥四百萬公升、酒四十萬公升、油四十萬公升。”

於是以色列人在拿弗他利山地，把加利利的基低斯分別出來；在以法蓮山地，把示劍分別出來；在猶大山地，把基列．亞巴分別出來，基列．亞巴就是希伯崙；
