then I will establish the throne of your kingdom over Israel forever, as I promised to David your father, saying,‘ There shall not fail from you a man on the throne of Israel.’

我必鞏固以色列國、俾爾國祚恆久弗替、昔我許爾父大闢、不絶其嗣、以繼以色列國位、今必踐其前言。

則我必鞏固爾國位在以色列人中、至於永遠、昔我許爾父大衛曰、爾嗣必繼爾坐以色列國位、永遠不絕、我必踐其言、

I will establish your royal throne over Israel forever, as I promised David your father when I said,‘ You shall never fail to have a successor on the throne of Israel.’

Then I will set up your royal throne over Israel forever. I promised your father David I would do that. I said to him,‘ You will always have a son from your family line on the throne of Israel.’

then I will establish your royal throne over Israel forever, as I promised David your father, saying,‘ You shall not lack a man on the throne of Israel.’

then I will establish the throne of your dynasty over Israel forever. For I made this promise to your father, David:‘ One of your descendants will always sit on the throne of Israel.’

then I will establish the throne of your kingdom over Israel forever, just as I promised to your father David, saying,‘ You shall not be deprived of a man on the throne of Israel.’

Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel.

Then I will allow your dynasty to rule over Israel permanently, just as I promised your father David,‘ You will not fail to have a successor on the throne of Israel.’

Then Yahweh may establish his word which he spoke concerning me, saying,‘ If your children are careful of their way, to walk before me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, there shall not fail you,’ he said,‘ a man on the throne of Israel.’

“ Concerning this house which you are building, if you will walk in my statutes, and execute my ordinances, and keep all my commandments to walk in them; then I will establish my word with you, which I spoke to David your father.

When your days are fulfilled, and you sleep with your fathers, I will set up your offspring after you, who will proceed out of your body, and I will establish his kingdom.

Your house and your kingdom will be made sure forever before you. Your throne will be established forever.”’”

Behold, a son shall be born to you, who shall be a man of peace. I will give him rest from all his enemies all around; for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quietness to Israel in his days.He shall build a house for my name; and he will be my son, and I will be his father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever.’

I will keep my loving kindness for him forever more. My covenant will stand firm with him.I will also make his offspring endure forever, and his throne as the days of heaven.If his children forsake my law, and don’t walk in my ordinances;if they break my statutes, and don’t keep my commandments;then I will punish their sin with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.But I will not completely take my loving kindness from him, nor allow my faithfulness to fail.I will not break my covenant, nor alter what my lips have uttered.Once I have sworn by my holiness, I will not lie to David.His offspring will endure forever, his throne like the sun before me.It will be established forever like the moon, the faithful witness in the sky.” Selah.But you have rejected and spurned. You have been angry with your anointed.You have renounced the covenant of your servant. You have defiled his crown in the dust.

Yahweh has sworn to David in truth. He will not turn from it:“ I will set the fruit of your body on your throne.If your children will keep my covenant, my testimony that I will teach them, their children also will sit on your throne forever more.”

He said,“ Blessed is Yahweh, the God of Israel, who spoke with his mouth to David your father, and has with his hand fulfilled it, saying,

Yahweh has established his word that he spoke; for I have risen up in the place of David my father, and I sit on the throne of Israel, as Yahweh promised, and have built the house for the name of Yahweh, the God of Israel.
