For“ you were like sheep going astray,” but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

“ You were like sheep wandering away.”( Isaiah 53:6) But now you have returned to the Shepherd. He is the one who watches over your souls.

I will rescue them from all the places where they have been scattered on a day of clouds and total darkness.I will bring them out from the peoples, gather them from the countries, and bring them to their own soil. This is the declaration of the Lord GOD.I will seek the lost, bring back the strays, bandage the injured, and strengthen the weak, but I will destroy the fat and the strong. I will shepherd them with justice.

I wander like a lost sheep; seek your servant, for I do not forget your commands.

When he saw the crowds, he felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dejected, like sheep without a shepherd.

The LORD is my shepherd; I have what I need.He lets me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside quiet waters.He renews my life; he leads me along the right paths for his name’s sake.

Listen, Shepherd of Israel, who leads Joseph like a flock; you who sit enthroned between the cherubim, shine

Sword, awake against my shepherd, against the man who is my associate— this is the declaration of the LORD of Armies. Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered; I will turn my hand against the little ones.
