“ Now if you fear and worship the Lord and listen to his voice, and if you do not rebel against the Lord’s commands, then both you and your king will show that you recognize the Lord as your God.

如爾敬畏主、奉事主、聽主之言、不違主之命、則爾與治爾之王、必蒙主爾天主之引導、

If you fear the Lord and serve and obey him and do not rebel against his commands, and if both you and the king who reigns over you follow the Lord your God— good!

But you must have respect for the Lord. You must serve him and obey him. You must not say no to his commands. Both you and the king who rules over you must obey the Lord your God. If you do, that’s good.

If you will fear the Lord and serve him and obey his voice and not rebel against the commandment of the Lord, and if both you and the king who reigns over you will follow the Lord your God, it will be well.

“ If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully keep all his commands that I am giving you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the world.You will experience all these blessings if you obey the Lord your God:Your towns and your fields will be blessed.Your children and your crops will be blessed. The offspring of your herds and flocks will be blessed.Your fruit baskets and breadboards will be blessed.Wherever you go and whatever you do, you will be blessed.“ The Lord will conquer your enemies when they attack you. They will attack you from one direction, but they will scatter from you in seven!“ The Lord will guarantee a blessing on everything you do and will fill your storehouses with grain. The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.“ If you obey the commands of the Lord your God and walk in his ways, the Lord will establish you as his holy people as he swore he would do.Then all the nations of the world will see that you are a people claimed by the Lord, and they will stand in awe of you.“ The Lord will give you prosperity in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you, blessing you with many children, numerous livestock, and abundant crops.The Lord will send rain at the proper time from his rich treasury in the heavens and will bless all the work you do. You will lend to many nations, but you will never need to borrow from them.If you listen to these commands of the Lord your God that I am giving you today, and if you carefully obey them, the Lord will make you the head and not the tail, and you will always be on top and never at the bottom.You must not turn away from any of the commands I am giving you today, nor follow after other gods and worship them.

If you abandon the Lord and serve other gods, he will turn against you and destroy you, even though he has been so good to you.”

The Lord said to Moses,“ Give the people of Israel these instructions, which apply both to native Israelites and to the foreigners living in Israel.“ If any of them offer their children as a sacrifice to Molech, they must be put to death. The people of the community must stone them to death.I myself will turn against them and cut them off from the community, because they have defiled my sanctuary and brought shame on my holy name by offering their children to Molech.And if the people of the community ignore those who offer their children to Molech and refuse to execute them,I myself will turn against them and their families and will cut them off from the community. This will happen to all who commit spiritual prostitution by worshiping Molech.“ I will also turn against those who commit spiritual prostitution by putting their trust in mediums or in those who consult the spirits of the dead. I will cut them off from the community.So set yourselves apart to be holy, for I am the Lord your God.Keep all my decrees by putting them into practice, for I am the Lord who makes you holy.“ Anyone who dishonors father or mother must be put to death. Such a person is guilty of a capital offense.“ If a man commits adultery with his neighbor’s wife, both the man and the woman who have committed adultery must be put to death.“ If a man violates his father by having sex with one of his father’s wives, both the man and the woman must be put to death, for they are guilty of a capital offense.“ If a man has sex with his daughter in law, both must be put to death. They have committed a perverse act and are guilty of a capital offense.“ If a man practices homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman, both men have committed a detestable act. They must both be put to death, for they are guilty of a capital offense.

He will give eternal life to those who keep on doing good, seeking after the glory and honor and immortality that God offers.

Tell the godly that all will be well for them. They will enjoy the rich reward they have earned!

So I let them follow their own stubborn desires, living according to their own ideas.Oh, that my people would listen to me! Oh, that Israel would follow me, walking in my paths!How quickly I would then subdue their enemies! How soon my hands would be upon their foes!Those who hate the Lord would cringe before him; they would be doomed forever.
