如今我站在这里，你们只管在耶和华和祂膏立的王面前为我作证，我夺过谁的牛？抢过谁的驴？欺骗过谁？压迫过谁？收过谁的贿赂而徇私枉法？如果有的话，我一定偿还。”

看哪，我在这里！你们只管在耶和华面前，以及在他的受膏者面前，作证指控我：我夺过谁的牛？抢过谁的驴？欺负过谁？虐待过谁？从谁手里受过贿赂，以致我的眼睛因此被蒙住呢？如果有，我必偿还给你们。”

看哪，你们可以在耶和华和他的受膏者面前指控我：我夺取过谁的牛，夺取过谁的驴子？我欺压过谁，压榨过谁？又从谁的手中收取过贿赂，以致我的眼睛被蒙住了？如果是这样，我必归还你们。”

我在此、爾於耶和華及其受膏者前、可為我證、我曾強取何人之牛、刦奪何人之驢、欺侮何人、苛虐何人、受賕於何人之手、以蔽我目、若有、我必償之、

何嘗奪人之牛驢、何嘗虐取人、挾制人、受人之賄賂以蔽我明、有一於此、我即償之。我在此於耶和華前、及受膏者前、彼得為證。

我在此、爾可於主前及主所立受膏者前、證我曾奪誰之牛、曾奪誰之驢、曾挾制誰、曾暴虐誰、曾受誰之賄而掩我目、若有、我即償之、

Here I stand. Testify against me in the presence of the Lord and his anointed. Whose ox have I taken? Whose donkey have I taken? Whom have I cheated? Whom have I oppressed? From whose hand have I accepted a bribe to make me shut my eyes? If I have done any of these things, I will make it right.”

Here I stand. Bring charges against me if you can. The Lord is a witness. And so is his anointed king. Whose ox have I taken? Whose donkey have I taken? Have I cheated anyone? Have I treated anyone badly? Have I accepted money from anyone who wanted special favors? If I’ve done any of these things, I’ll make it right.”

Here I am; testify against me before the Lord and before his anointed. Whose ox have I taken? Or whose donkey have I taken? Or whom have I defrauded? Whom have I oppressed? Or from whose hand have I taken a bribe to blind my eyes with it? Testify against me and I will restore it to you.”

Now testify against me in the presence of the Lord and before his anointed one. Whose ox or donkey have I stolen? Have I ever cheated any of you? Have I ever oppressed you? Have I ever taken a bribe and perverted justice? Tell me and I will make right whatever I have done wrong.”

Here I am. Bring charges against me before the LORD and his anointed: Whose ox or donkey have I taken? Who have I wronged or mistreated? Who gave me a bribe to overlook something? I will return it to you.”

Here I am; testify against me before the Lord and His anointed. Whose ox have I taken, or whose donkey have I taken, or whom have I exploited? Whom have I oppressed, or from whose hand have I taken a bribe to close my eyes with it? I will return it to you.”

Here I am. Witness against me before the Lord and before His anointed: Whose ox have I taken, or whose donkey have I taken, or whom have I cheated? Whom have I oppressed, or from whose hand have I received any bribe with which to blind my eyes? I will restore it to you.”

Here I am: witness against me before Jehovah, and before his anointed: whose ox have I taken? or whose ass have I taken? or whom have I defrauded? whom have I oppressed? or of whose hand have I taken a ransom to blind mine eyes therewith? and I will restore it you.

Behold, here I[ am]: witness against me before the LORD, and before his anointed: whose ox have I taken? or whose ass have I taken? or whom have I defrauded? whom have I oppressed? or of whose hand have I received[ any] bribe to blind mine eyes therewith? and I will restore it you.

Here I am. Bring a charge against me before the LORD and before his chosen king. Whose ox have I taken? Whose donkey have I taken? Whom have I wronged? Whom have I oppressed? From whose hand have I taken a bribe so that I would overlook something? Tell me, and I will return it to you!”

Here I am. Witness against me before Yahweh, and before his anointed. Whose ox have I taken? Whose donkey have I taken? Whom have I defrauded? Whom have I oppressed? Of whose hand have I taken a bribe to make me blind my eyes? I will restore it to you.”

Then Moses became very angry and said to the Lord,“ Do not accept their offering. I have not taken so much as a donkey from them, nor have I wronged any of them.” (niv)

I have not coveted anyone’s silver or gold or clothing. (niv)

He said to his men,“ The Lord forbid that I should do such a thing to my master, the Lord’s anointed, or lay my hand on him; for he is the anointed of the Lord.” (niv)

Then Samuel took a flask of olive oil and poured it on Saul’s head and kissed him, saying,“ Has not the Lord anointed you ruler over his inheritance? (niv)

Do not pervert justice or show partiality. Do not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the innocent. (niv)

“ You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.” (niv)

You are witnesses, and so is God, of how holy, righteous and blameless we were among you who believed. (niv)

David asked him,“ Why weren’t you afraid to lift your hand to destroy the Lord’s anointed?”Then David called one of his men and said,“ Go, strike him down!” So he struck him down, and he died.For David had said to him,“ Your blood be on your own head. Your own mouth testified against you when you said,‘ I killed the Lord’s anointed.’” (niv)

You know we never used flattery, nor did we put on a mask to cover up greed— God is our witness. (niv)

when they sin in any of these ways and realize their guilt, they must return what they have stolen or taken by extortion, or what was entrusted to them, or the lost property they found, (niv)

Now I am ready to visit you for the third time, and I will not be a burden to you, because what I want is not your possessions but you. After all, children should not have to save up for their parents, but parents for their children. (niv)

Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended.For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience.This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing.Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor. (niv)

“ Caesar’s,” they replied. Then he said to them,“ So give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.” (niv)

If the stolen animal is found alive in their possession— whether ox or donkey or sheep— they must pay back double. (niv)

But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord,“ Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount.” (niv)
