Samuel said to him,“ The Lord has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today and has given it to one of your neighbors— to one better than you.

昔耶和華藉我所言、今行於爾、奪國於爾手、以畀爾鄰大衛、爾不聽耶和華命、成其烈怒於亞瑪力、故今日耶和華以此加諸爾、

亞希雅取其所衣之新衣、裂為十二、謂之曰、爾取其十、蓋以色列之上帝耶和華曰、我必分裂此國、奪於所羅門手、以十支派予爾、

秉權者、眾宜服之、蓋無權非由上帝、諸權皆上帝所命也、

既廢之、舉大衛為王、為之證曰、我得耶西子大衛、其人愜我心、將悉行我旨也、

耶穌曰、非自上賜爾、爾則無權於我、故以我付爾者、罪尤大也、

今爾不守厥命、爾之國祚不永、耶和華已尋獲一人、遂乎其心、立為其民之長、

遂遣人攜之入、其人赤色、目秀貌美、耶和華曰、斯人是也、起而膏之、

我以大能奮臂、肇造大地、與其上之人民牲畜、以地錫人、依我所視為宜、吾今以此諸國、付於我僕巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒手、亦錫以田野之畜、俾供其役、

耶和華使人貧、使人富、使人卑微、使人高顯、舉貧賤者於塵埃、拔匱乏者於糞壤、使坐牧伯之間、俾嗣尊榮之位、蓋地之柱屬耶和華、立宇宙於其上、

此乃儆醒者所定、聖使所命、使生民咸知至上者治世人之國、隨意畀人、立人間之至卑者主之、

爾將被逐、離乎人羣、與野獸同居、囓草如牛、歷至七期、迨爾知至上者治世人之國、隨意畀人、
