He said to his men,“ May the Lord keep me from doing a thing like that again to my master. He is the Lord’ s anointed king. So I promise that I will never lay my hand on him. The Lord has anointed him.”

他对部下说：“我不该做这样的事，我主是耶和华所膏立的王，我绝不出手伤害他，因为他是耶和华所膏立的。”

就对跟随他的人说：“我在耶和华面前绝对不能这样对待我主耶和华的受膏者，我绝对不能动手攻击他，因为他是耶和华的受膏者。”

就对部下说：“耶和华绝不允许我对耶和华的受膏者我主做这样的事，我绝不对他下手，因为他是耶和华的受膏者。”

就對跟隨的人說：『他既是永恆主所膏立的，我絕對不對我主上、不對永恆主所膏立的行這事，來伸手攻擊他。』

就對部下說：「耶和華絕不允許我對耶和華的受膏者我主做這樣的事，我絕不對他下手，因為他是耶和華的受膏者。」

謂從者曰、我主乃耶和華之受膏者、願耶和華禁我舉手攻之、以其為耶和華所膏也、

謂從者曰、耶和華以膏沐我主、而我舉手攻之、斷不可為。

謂從者曰、我畏主、斷不敢舉手害我主王、即主所立受膏者、彼原為主所立受膏者也、

He said to his men,“ The Lord forbid that I should do such a thing to my master, the Lord’s anointed, or lay my hand on him; for he is the anointed of the Lord.”

He said to his men,“ The Lord forbid that I should do this thing to my lord, the Lord’s anointed, to put out my hand against him, seeing he is the Lord’s anointed.”

He said to his men,“ The Lord forbid that I should do this to my lord the king. I shouldn’t attack the Lord’s anointed one, for the Lord himself has chosen him.”

He said to his men,“ As the LORD is my witness, I would never do such a thing to my lord, the LORD’s anointed. I will never lift my hand against him, since he is the LORD’s anointed.”

So he said to his men,“ Far be it from me because of the Lord that I would do this thing to my lord, the Lord’s anointed, to reach out with my hand against him, since he is the Lord’s anointed.”

And he said to his men,“ The Lord forbid that I should do this thing to my master, the LORD’s anointed, to stretch out my hand against him, seeing he is the anointed of the Lord.”

And he said unto his men, Jehovah forbid that I should do this thing unto my lord, Jehovah’s anointed, to put forth my hand against him, seeing he is Jehovah’s anointed.

He said to his men,“ I swear before the Lord: I would never do such a thing to my lord, the Lord’s anointed. I will never lift my hand against him, since he is the Lord’s anointed.”

And he said unto his men, The LORD forbid that I should do this thing unto my master, the LORD’S anointed, to stretch forth mine hand against him, seeing he[ is] the anointed of the LORD.

He said to his men,“ May the LORD keep me far away from doing such a thing to my lord, who is the LORD’s chosen one, by extending my hand against him. After all, he is the LORD’s chosen one.”

He said to his men,“ Yahweh forbid that I should do this thing to my lord, Yahweh’s anointed, to stretch out my hand against him, since he is Yahweh’s anointed.”

But David said to Abishai,“ Don’t destroy him! No one can do any harm to the Lord’ s anointed king and not be guilty.You can be sure that the Lord lives,” he said.“ And you can be just as sure that the Lord himself will strike Saul down. Perhaps he’ll die a natural death. Or perhaps he’ll go into battle and be killed.May the Lord keep me from doing anything to harm his anointed king. Now get the spear and water jug that are near his head. Then let’s leave.”

But here is what I tell you. Love your enemies. Pray for those who hurt you.

David asked him,“ Why weren’t you afraid to lift your hand to kill the Lord’ s anointed king?”

“ I wasn’t happy when hard times came to my enemies. I didn’t enjoy seeing the trouble they had.I didn’t allow my mouth to sin by asking for bad things to happen to them.

Bless those who hurt you. Bless them, and do not curse them.Be joyful with those who are joyful. Be sad with those who are sad.Agree with one another. Don’t be proud. Be willing to be a friend of people who aren’t considered important. Don’t think that you are better than others.Don’t pay back evil with evil. Be careful to do what everyone thinks is right.If possible, live in peace with everyone. Do that as much as you can.My dear friends, don’t try to get even. Leave room for God to show his anger. It is written,“ I am the God who judges people. I will pay them back,”( Deuteronomy 32:35) says the Lord.Do just the opposite. Scripture says,“ If your enemies are hungry, give them food to eat. If they are thirsty, give them something to drink. By doing those things, you will pile up burning coals on their heads.”( Proverbs 25:21, 22)Don’t let evil overcome you. Overcome evil by doing good.All of you must obey those who rule over you. There are no authorities except the ones God has chosen. Those who now rule have been chosen by God.So whoever opposes the authorities opposes leaders whom God has appointed. Those who do that will be judged.

Make sure that no one pays back one wrong act with another. Instead, always try to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.

But Naboth replied,“ May the Lord keep me from giving you the land my family handed down to me.”
