掃羅指耶和華而誓曰、我指維生之耶和華而誓、爾不因此受刑、

掃羅指耶和華以誓、曰、如爾作此、斷不遭刑。

掃羅對婦指主而誓曰、我指永生主而誓、爾必不因此事受刑、

Saul swore to her by the Lord,“ As surely as the Lord lives, you will not be punished for this.”

Saul made a promise in the name of the Lord. He said to the woman,“ You can be sure that the Lord lives. And you can be just as sure that you won’t be punished for helping me.”

But Saul swore to her by the Lord,“ As the Lord lives, no punishment shall come upon you for this thing.”

But Saul took an oath in the name of the Lord and promised,“ As surely as the Lord lives, nothing bad will happen to you for doing this.”

Then Saul swore to her by the LORD:“ As surely as the LORD lives, no punishment will come to you from this.”

So Saul swore an oath to her by the Lord, saying,“ As the Lord lives, no punishment shall come upon you for this thing.”

And Saul swore to her by the Lord, saying,“ As the Lord lives, no punishment shall come upon you for this thing.”

And Saul sware to her by Jehovah, saying, As Jehovah liveth, there shall no punishment happen to thee for this thing.

Then Saul swore to her by the Lord:“ As surely as the Lord lives, nothing bad will happen to you because of this.”

And Saul sware to her by the LORD, saying,[ As] the LORD liveth, there shall no punishment happen to thee for this thing.

But Saul swore an oath to her by the LORD,“ As surely as the LORD lives, you will not incur guilt in this matter!”

Saul swore to her by Yahweh, saying,“ As Yahweh lives, no punishment will happen to you for this thing.”

“ You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name. (niv)

Saul listened to Jonathan and took this oath:“ As surely as the Lord lives, David will not be put to death.” (niv)

Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft,or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead.Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord; because of these same detestable practices the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you. (niv)

She said,“ Then let the king invoke the Lord his God to prevent the avenger of blood from adding to the destruction, so that my son will not be destroyed.”“ As surely as the Lord lives,” he said,“ not one hair of your son’s head will fall to the ground.” (niv)

As surely as the Lord who rescues Israel lives, even if the guilt lies with my son Jonathan, he must die.” But not one of them said a word. (niv)

He denied it again, with an oath:“ I don’t know the man!” (niv)

And he promised her with an oath,“ Whatever you ask I will give you, up to half my kingdom.” (niv)

“ For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” (niv)
