大衛對亞吉說：“我作了甚麼呢？自從我來到你面前的那一天，直到今日，你在僕人身上找到甚麼，使我不能與我主我王的仇敵爭戰呢？”

大卫对亚吉说：“我做了什么呢？自从仆人到你面前，直到今日，你查出我有什么过错，使我不去攻击主我王的仇敌呢？”

大卫对亚吉说：“但我做了什么呢？自从仆人到你面前，直到今日，你查出我有什么过错，使我不去攻击我主我王的仇敌呢？”

大卫对亚吉说：“但我做了什么呢？自从仆人到你面前，直到今日，你查出我有什么过错，使我不去攻击我主我王的仇敌呢？”

大卫说：“我究竟做错了什么？自从仆人投奔你以来，你发现仆人有什么过错？为什么不让我为我主我王杀敌呢？”

大卫对亚吉说：“我作了什么呢？自从我来到你面前的那一天，直到今日，你在仆人身上找到什么，使我不能与我主我王的仇敌争战呢？”

大卫对亚吉说：“我究竟做了什么呢？自从我来到你面前那天起，直到今天，你在仆人身上找到了什么过犯，以致我不能与我主我王的仇敌争战呢？”

大衛對亞吉說：「我做了甚麼呢？自從僕人到你面前，直到今日，你查出我有甚麼過錯，使我不去攻擊主－我王的仇敵呢？」

大衛對亞吉說：「但我做了甚麼呢？自從僕人到你面前，直到今日，你查出我有甚麼過錯，使我不去攻擊我主我王的仇敵呢？」

大衛對亞吉說：「但我做了甚麼呢？自從僕人到你面前，直到今日，你查出我有甚麼過錯，使我不去攻擊我主我王的仇敵呢？」

大衛說：「我究竟做錯了什麼？自從僕人投奔你以來，你發現僕人有什麼過錯？為什麼不讓我為我主我王殺敵呢？」

大衛對亞吉說：『我作了甚麼呢？自從僕人在你面前以來、直到今日、你查出我有甚麼事情使我不去攻打我主我王的仇敵呢？』

大衛對亞吉說：「我究竟做了什麼呢？自從我來到你面前那天起，直到今天，你在僕人身上找到了什麼過犯，以致我不能與我主我王的仇敵爭戰呢？」

大衛曰、我何所為、自我從爾、至於今日、爾視爾僕有何事故、不容往攻我主我王之敵、

大闢曰、自僕從爾、迄於今日、我之所為、有所過失、不使我攻我主我王之敵。

大衛謂亞吉曰、我何所為、自僕至王前、迄於今日、王見僕有何過歟、乃使我不往攻我主我王之敵、

“ But what have I done?” asked David.“ What have you found against your servant from the day I came to you until now? Why can’t I go and fight against the enemies of my lord the king?”

“ But what have I done?” asked David.“ What have you found against me from the day I came to you until now? Why can’t I go and fight against your enemies? After all, you are my king and master.”

And David said to Achish,“ But what have I done? What have you found in your servant from the day I entered your service until now, that I may not go and fight against the enemies of my lord the king?”

“ What have I done to deserve this treatment?” David demanded.“ What have you ever found in your servant, that I can’t go and fight the enemies of my lord the king?”

“ But what have I done?” David replied to Achish.“ From the first day I entered your service until today, what have you found against your servant to keep me from going to fight against the enemies of my lord the king?”

However, David said to Achish,“ But what have I done? And what have you found in your servant since the day that I came before you, to this day, that I cannot go and fight against the enemies of my lord the king?”

So David said to Achish,“ But what have I done? And to this day what have you found in your servant as long as I have been with you, that I may not go and fight against the enemies of my Lord the king?”

And David said unto Achish, But what have I done? and what hast thou found in thy servant so long as I have been before thee unto this day, that I may not go and fight against the enemies of my lord the king?

“ But what have I done?” David replied to Achish.“ From the first day I was with you until today, what have you found against your servant to keep me from going along to fight against the enemies of my lord the king?”

And David said unto Achish, But what have I done? and what hast thou found in thy servant so long as I have been with thee unto this day, that I may not go fight against the enemies of my lord the king?

But David said to Achish,“ What have I done? What have you found in your servant from the day that I first came into your presence until the present time, that I shouldn’t go and fight the enemies of my lord the king?”

David said to Achish,“ But what have I done? What have you found in your servant so long as I have been before you to this day, that I may not go and fight against the enemies of my lord the king?”

就應謹守舌頭，不出惡言，嘴唇不說欺詐的話。也要離惡行善，尋找並追求和睦。

戶篩回答押沙龍：“不！耶和華和這民，以及以色列眾人所揀選的，我應該歸屬他，與他在一起。再者，我要事奉誰呢？不是前王的兒子嗎？我以前怎樣事奉你的父親，我現在也必怎樣事奉你。”

求你以慈愛待僕人，因為你曾與僕人在耶和華面前立盟約。如果我有罪孽，你就親手把我殺死，為甚麼要把我交給你父親呢？”

又說：“我主為甚麼這樣追趕僕人呢？我作了甚麼？我手裡犯了甚麼過錯？

大衛說：“我現在作了甚麼事呢？不是只說了一句話嗎？”

不要讓我們陷入試探，救我們脫離那惡者。’﹙有些後期抄本在此有“因為國度、權柄、榮耀，全是你的，直到永遠。阿們”一句。﹚

大衛回答亞吉說：“僕人所能作的事你都知道。”於是亞吉對大衛說：“好吧，我要立你永遠作我的護衛長。”

看哪，我在這裡！你們只管在耶和華面前，以及在他的受膏者面前，作證指控我：我奪過誰的牛？搶過誰的驢？欺負過誰？虐待過誰？從誰手裡受過賄賂，以致我的眼睛因此被蒙住呢？如果有，我必償還給你們。”
