『你要吩咐以色列人把搗成的純橄欖油、做燈火用處的、拿來給你，讓燈不斷地點着。在會棚中、法櫃的帷帳外、亞倫從晚上到早晨要不斷地在永恆主面前整理這燈：這要做你們世世代代永遠的條例。他要不斷地在永恆主面前整理這淨金燈臺上的燈。

『你要吩咐以色列人把搗成的純橄欖油、做燈火用處的、拿來給你，讓燈不斷地點着。在會棚中法櫃前的帷帳外、亞倫和他的子孫、從晚上到早晨、要在永恆主面前整理這燈：這要做以色列人世世代代永遠的條例。

至於我呢、我必憑你堅愛之豐盛進入你的殿；我必存敬畏你的心向你的聖殿堂敬拜。

有一件事我曾求過永恆主，我還要尋求：就是儘我一生的日子住在永恆主的殿中，瞻仰永恆主的恩美，在他的殿堂裏求問。

永恆主的聲音使篤耨香樹旋轉，使森林中的樹木脫落淨光；凡在他殿堂中的都說：『榮耀！』

只因永恆主閉着她的子宮，她的對頭就大大惹了她發怒，要使她大發雷霆。

亞倫要燒芬芳的香在壇上：早晨修整燈的時候、他要燒這香；傍晚時分、亞倫點燈的時候，他也要燒這香，做你們在永恆主面前代代不斷的香。

他們每天早晚向永恆主燻燔祭，燒芳料作的香，在淨金的桌子上擺陳設餅；又有金燈臺和燈盞，每天晚上要點起來；因為我們守盡了永恆主我們的上帝所交付的職守；惟獨你們卻離棄了他。
