When David reached Ziklag, he sent some of the plunder to the elders of Judah, who were his friends, saying,“ Here is a gift for you from the plunder of the Lord’s enemies.”

David reached Ziklag. He sent some of the goods to the elders of Judah. They were his friends. He said,“ Here’s a gift for you. It’s part of the things we took from the Lord’ s enemies.”

When David came to Ziklag, he sent part of the spoil to his friends, the elders of Judah, saying,“ Here is a present for you from the spoil of the enemies of the Lord.”

When he arrived at Ziklag, David sent part of the plunder to the elders of Judah, who were his friends.“ Here is a present for you, taken from the Lord’s enemies,” he said.

When David came to Ziklag, he sent some of the plunder to his friends, the elders of Judah, saying,“ Here is a gift for you from the plunder of the LORD’s enemies.”

Now when David came to Ziklag, he sent some of the spoils to the elders of Judah, to his friends, saying,“ Behold, a gift for you from the spoils of the enemies of the Lord:

现在，请把婢女给我主带来的这些礼物赐给跟随我主的仆人们。

愿那些喜欢我被显为义的，都欢呼欢喜；愿他们常常说：“当尊耶和华为大！耶和华喜悦他的仆人平安。”

请你收下我带给你的礼物吧！因为神恩待我，我什么都有了。”雅各再三劝说，他才收下。

所以，我认为必须鼓励这些弟兄先到你们那里去，把你们已经许诺的惠赠提前安排好，这样就表明你们所预备好的就是惠赠，而不是被强取的。

人的礼物为他开路，引导他到大人物面前。争讼中先陈说的虽显得公义；但对方一来，就能查验他的话。抽签使争执停息，也能在强者之间调停。被冒犯的兄弟比坚固的城更难对付；而争执就如城堡的门闩。人的肚腹必因口所结的果实而饱足，因嘴上的收成而满足。生与死都在舌头的权下；喜爱它的必食其果。找到妻子的，就找到了福份，他从耶和华蒙了恩典。穷人苦苦哀求，富人凶狠回应。朋友太多的人，会受损害；但有一知己，比兄弟更亲密。

你升上高天，掳掠了俘虏；你在人间，甚至在顽梗的人中，接受了供奉，好使耶和华神与他们同住！

高贵人却筹谋高贵的事，并坚立在高贵的事上。
