你們的心為甚麼固執、像埃及人和法老那樣固執呢？上帝作弄了埃及人，埃及人不是還要把以色列人放走麼？

你們為什麼心裡剛硬，像埃及人和法老那樣心裡剛硬呢？當神折辱他們的時候，他們不是放走了以色列人嗎？以色列人不是離開了嗎？

何剛愎乃心、如埃及人與法老之剛愎乎、上帝行奇事於其間、彼豈非釋其民、使之往乎、

何剛愎乃心、效埃及人與法老所為乎。彼不釋以色列族、待降異災而後可。

何剛愎爾心、如伊及人與法老剛愎其心耶、伊及人不釋以色列人去、迨彼即天主在其間行奇跡降災、始釋之去、爾豈不知乎、

Why do you harden your hearts as the Egyptians and Pharaoh did? When Israel’s god dealt harshly with them, did they not send the Israelites out so they could go on their way?

Why are you stubborn, as Pharaoh and the people of Egypt were? Israel’s god was very hard on them. Only then did they send the Israelites out. Only then did they let them go on their way.

Why harden your hearts like the Egyptians and Pharaoh did? When God treated them harshly, didn’t the Egyptians send the Israelites on their way?

看哪，我要任凭埃及人的心刚硬，他们就跟着下去。我要在法老和他的全军、战车、战车长身上得荣耀。

但法老见灾祸舒缓了，就硬着心，不听从他们，正如耶和华所说的。

法老心里刚硬，不听摩西和亚伦，正如耶和华所说的。

法老见雨、雹、雷止住，又再犯罪；他和他的臣仆都硬着心。

摩西和亚伦就到法老那里，对他说：“耶和华—希伯来人的神这样说：‘你在我面前不肯谦卑要到几时呢？放我的百姓走，好事奉我。

但这一次法老又硬着心，不放百姓走。

埃及人追赶他们，法老一切的马匹、战车和战车长都跟着下到海中。

他心里有智慧，且大有能力。谁向神刚硬而得平安呢？

总要趁着还有今日，天天彼此相劝，免得你们中间有人被罪迷惑，心肠刚硬了。

然而，我让你存活，是为了要使你看见我的大能，并要使我的名传遍全地。

你竟放任你刚硬不悔改的心，为自己累积愤怒！在愤怒的日子，神公义的审判要显示出来。

你们不可硬着心，像在米利巴，就是在旷野玛撒的日子。

万民听见就战抖；疼痛抓住非利士的居民。那时，以东的族长惊惶，摩押的英雄被战兢抓住，迦南所有的居民都融化。惊骇恐惧临到他们；耶和华啊，因你膀臂的大能，他们如石头寂静不动，等候你百姓过去，等候你所赎的百姓过去。

夜间，法老召了摩西和亚伦来，说：“起来！你们和以色列人，都离开我的百姓出去，照你们所说的，去事奉耶和华吧！照你们所说的，连羊群牛群也带走，也为我祝福吧！”埃及人催促百姓赶快离开那地，因为埃及人说：“我们都快死了。”
