摩西向天伸杖，耶和华就打雷下雹，有火降到地上；耶和华下雹在埃及地上。那时，有雹，也有火在雹中闪烁，极其严重；自从埃及立国以来，全地没有像这样的。在埃及全地，冰雹击打田间所有的人和牲畜，击打一切的菜蔬，也打坏了田间一切的树木。

神啊，众水见你，众水一见你就都惊惶，深渊也都战抖。密云倒出水来，天空发出响声，你的箭也飞行四方。你的雷声在旋风之中，闪电照亮世界，大地战抖震动。

耶和华使西西拉和他一切的战车，以及全军溃乱，在巴拉面前倒在刀下。西西拉下了车，徒步逃跑。

烈火在他前头行，烧灭他四围的敌人。他的闪电光照世界，大地看见就震动。

以黑暗为藏身之处，以水的黑暗、天空的密云作四围的行宫。因他发出光辉，冰雹和火炭穿透密云。耶和华在天上打雷，至高者发出声音，就有冰雹和火炭。他射出箭来，使仇敌四散；发出连串的闪电，击溃他们。

他回答我说：“这是耶和华指示所罗巴伯的话。万军之耶和华说：不是倚靠势力，不是倚靠才能，乃是倚靠我的灵方能成事。

又有闪电、响声、雷轰、大地震，自从地上有人以来没有这样大、这样厉害的地震。那大城裂为三段，列国的城也都倒塌了。神记起了大巴比伦城，把那盛自己烈怒的酒杯递给她。各海岛都逃避了，众山也不见了。又有大冰雹从天掉落在人身上，每一个约重一他连得，以致人因冰雹的灾难而亵渎神，因为那灾难太大了。
