於是撒母耳對以色列全家說：“如果你們一心歸向耶和華，就當把外族的神和亞斯他錄從你們中間除掉，專心歸向耶和華，單單事奉他，他必救你們脫離非利士人的手。”

撒母耳对以色列全家说：“你们若一心归顺耶和华，就要把外邦的神和亚斯他录从你们中间除掉，专心归向耶和华，单单地侍奉他。他必救你们脱离非利士人的手。”

撒母耳对以色列全家说：“你们若全心回转归向耶和华，就要从你们中间除掉外邦的神明和亚斯她录，预备你们的心归向耶和华，单单事奉他，他必救你们脱离非利士人的手。”

撒母耳对以色列全家说：“你们若全心回转归向耶和华，就要从你们中间除掉外邦的神明和亚斯她录，预备你们的心归向耶和华，单单事奉他，他必救你们脱离非利士人的手。”

撒母耳对他们说：“如果你们全心归向耶和华，就要除掉你们那些外族的神明，包括亚斯她录神像，一心归向耶和华，单单事奉祂，祂必从非利士人手中救你们。”

于是撒母耳对以色列全家说：“如果你们一心归向耶和华，就当把外族的神和亚斯他录从你们中间除掉，专心归向耶和华，单单事奉他，他必救你们脱离非利士人的手。”

撒母耳就对以色列全家宣告说：“你们如果全心回转归向耶和华，就要把外邦的神明和亚斯她录从你们中间除掉，立定心志归向耶和华，唯独服事他。这样他就会解救你们脱离非利士人的手。”

撒母耳對以色列全家說：「你們若一心歸順耶和華，就要把外邦的神和亞斯她錄從你們中間除掉，專心歸向耶和華，單單地事奉他。他必救你們脫離非利士人的手。」

撒母耳對他們說：「如果你們全心歸向耶和華，就要除掉你們那些外族的神明，包括亞斯她錄神像，一心歸向耶和華，單單事奉祂，祂必從非利士人手中救你們。」

撒母耳對以色列全家說：『你們若一心回轉來歸向永恆主，把外人的神從你們中間除掉，也除掉亞斯他錄，立定心意歸向永恆主，單單事奉他，他就援救你們脫離非利士人的手。』

撒母耳就對以色列全家宣告說：「你們如果全心回轉歸向耶和華，就要把外邦的神明和亞斯她錄從你們中間除掉，立定心志歸向耶和華，唯獨服事他。這樣他就會解救你們脫離非利士人的手。」

撒母耳告以色列家曰、如爾一心歸耶和華、則必除異族之神、及亞斯他錄於爾中、專心歸耶和華、而獨事之、則彼援爾於非利士人手、

撒母耳告以色列眾曰、如爾盡心歸耶和華、則他上帝及亞大綠、必絕於爾中、當備爾心、獨事耶和華、則彼援爾於非利士人手。

撒母耳謂以色列族之眾曰、如爾盡心歸主、則以異邦之神及諸亞斯他錄除於爾中、專心向主、獨崇事主、如此、主必援爾於非利士人之手、

So Samuel said to all the Israelites,“ If you are returning to the Lord with all your hearts, then rid yourselves of the foreign gods and the Ashtoreths and commit yourselves to the Lord and serve him only, and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.”

So Samuel spoke to all the Israelites. He said,“ Do you really want to return to the Lord with all your hearts? If you do, get rid of your false gods. Get rid of your statues of female gods that are named Ashtoreth. Commit yourselves to the Lord. Serve him only. Then he will save you from the power of the Philistines.”

And Samuel said to all the house of Israel,“ If you are returning to the Lord with all your heart, then put away the foreign gods and the Ashtaroth from among you and direct your heart to the Lord and serve him only, and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.”

Then Samuel said to all the people of Israel,“ If you want to return to the Lord with all your hearts, get rid of your foreign gods and your images of Ashtoreth. Turn your hearts to the Lord and obey him alone; then he will rescue you from the Philistines.”

Samuel told them,“ If you are returning to the LORD with all your heart, get rid of the foreign gods and the Ashtoreths that are among you, set your hearts on the LORD, and worship only him. Then he will rescue you from the Philistines.”

Then Samuel spoke to all the house of Israel, saying,“ If you are returning to the Lord with all your heart, then remove the foreign gods and the Ashtaroth from among you, and direct your hearts to the Lord and serve Him alone; and He will save you from the hand of the Philistines.”

Then Samuel spoke to all the house of Israel, saying,“ If you return to the Lord with all your hearts, then put away the foreign gods and the Ashtoreths from among you, and prepare your hearts for the Lord, and serve Him only; and He will deliver you from the hand of the Philistines.”

And Samuel spake unto all the house of Israel, saying, If ye do return unto Jehovah with all your heart, then put away the foreign gods and the Ashtaroth from among you, and direct your hearts unto Jehovah, and serve him only; and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.

Samuel told them,“ If you are returning to the Lord with all your heart, get rid of the foreign gods and the Ashtoreths that are among you, dedicate yourselves to the Lord, and worship only Him. Then He will rescue you from the hand of the Philistines.”

And Samuel spake unto all the house of Israel, saying, If ye do return unto the LORD with all your hearts,[ then] put away the strange gods and Ashtaroth from among you, and prepare your hearts unto the LORD, and serve him only: and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.

Samuel said to all the people of Israel,“ If you are really turning to the LORD with all your hearts, remove from among you the foreign gods and the images of Ashtoreth. Give your hearts to the LORD and serve only him. Then he will deliver you from the hand of the Philistines.”

Samuel spoke to all the house of Israel, saying,“ If you are returning to Yahweh with all your heart, then put away the foreign gods and the Ashtaroth from among you, and direct your hearts to Yahweh, and serve him only; and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.”

耶穌回答：“經上記著：‘當拜主你的神，單要事奉他。’”

你們要順從耶和華你們的神，敬畏他，遵守他的誡命，聽從他的話，事奉他，緊靠他。

但耶穌說：“撒但，走開！經上記著：‘當拜主你的神，單要事奉他。’”

你要敬畏耶和華你的神，要事奉他，奉他的名起誓。

惡人要離棄自己的道路，不義的人當除去自己的意念，回轉過來歸向耶和華，耶和華就必憐憫他。你們當回轉過來歸向我們的神，因為他大大赦免人的罪。

“現在你們要敬畏耶和華，真誠地按著真理事奉他，把你們列祖在大河那邊和在埃及事奉的神除掉，去事奉耶和華。

約書亞說：“現在你們要除掉在你們中間外族人的神，一心歸向耶和華以色列的神。”

如果他們在俘擄他們的仇敵的地方，一心一意回轉歸向你，又向著你賜給他們列祖的地方，向你所揀選的這城，和我為你的名建造的這殿禱告，

耶和華說：“現在雖然如此，你們仍要全心全意，以禁食、哭泣、哀號，歸向我。”你們要撕裂你們的心腸，不要撕裂你們的衣服。並要歸向耶和華你們的神，因為他有恩典有憐憫，不輕易發怒，並且有豐盛的慈愛，隨時轉意不降災禍。

“來吧！讓我們回轉歸向耶和華；因為，他雖然撕裂了我們，但必定醫治我們；他雖然擊傷了我們，卻必替我們裹傷。兩天以後，他要使我們復原；第三天，他使我們起來，我們就可以活在他的面前。

你要敬畏耶和華你的神，事奉他，依靠他，奉他的名起誓。

神是靈，敬拜他的必須靠著聖靈按著真理敬拜他。”

你和你的子孫必一心一意歸向耶和華你的神，照著我今日吩咐你的一切聽從他的話。那時，耶和華你的神就必使你這被擄的人回歸，他必憐憫你；耶和華你的神必從你被分散到的萬民中，把你再召集回來。你被趕逐的人，就是在天涯海角，耶和華你的神也必從那裡把你召集回來，從那裡把你帶回。耶和華你的神必領你進入你列祖所得之地，使你可以得著這地；他必善待你，他也必使你的人數增多，勝過你的列祖。耶和華你的神必把你心裡和你後裔心裡的污穢除掉，要你一心一意愛耶和華你的神，使你可以存活。耶和華你的神必把這一切咒詛，加在你的仇敵和恨惡你、逼迫你的人身上。你卻要再聽從耶和華的話，遵行他的一切誡命，就是我今日吩咐你的。耶和華你的神必使你手裡所辦的一切事、你身所生的、牲畜所出的、地土所產的，都豐盛有餘，因為耶和華必再喜悅你，使你得福，像從前喜悅你的列祖一樣；只要你聽從耶和華你的神的話，謹守這律法書上所寫的誡命和律例；只要你一心一意回轉歸向耶和華你的神。

以色列人又行了耶和華看為惡的事，服事眾巴力和亞斯他錄，以及亞蘭的神、西頓的神、摩押的神、亞捫人的神、非利士人的神；他們離棄了耶和華，不再服事他。

“至於你，我兒所羅門哪，你要認識耶和華你父親的神，一心樂意事奉他，因為耶和華鑒察萬人的心，知道人的一切心思意念。你若是尋求他，就必尋見；你若是離棄他，他必永遠丟棄你。

雅各就對他的家人，和所有與他在一起的人說：“你們要除去你們中間外族人的神像，你們要潔淨自己，更換你們的衣服。

‘這人民用嘴唇尊敬我，心卻遠離我；

你們要把你們所犯的一切罪過棄掉，為自己造一個新的心和新的靈。以色列家啊，你們為甚麼要滅亡呢？

耶和華對猶大和耶路撒冷的人這樣說：“你們要為自己開墾未經耕耘之地，卻不要撒種在荊棘中！猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民哪！你們要為了耶和華的緣故自行割禮，除去心裡的污穢；不然，我的忿怒必因你們的惡行，如火一般發出來，無人能熄滅！”

“一個人不能服事兩個主人；他若不是恨這個愛那個，就是忠於這個輕視那個。你們不能服事神，又服事金錢﹙“金錢”亞蘭文是“瑪門”。﹚。

他們離棄了耶和華，去事奉巴力和亞斯他錄。

可是你還有善行，因為你從國中除掉亞舍拉，並且決心尋求神。”

你若心裡歸向他，又向他伸手禱告；你若遠遠地除掉你手裡的欺詐，不讓不義居在你的帳棚裡；

心裡的籌劃在於人，舌頭的應對卻出於耶和華。

以色列人就從他們中間除去外族人的神，事奉耶和華；耶和華的心因以色列人所受的患難，就很著急。

以色列啊，回轉吧！回到耶和華你的神那裡，因為你是因自己的罪孽跌倒的。（本節在《馬索拉文本》為14:2）

他們把掃羅的兵器放在亞斯他錄的廟裡，又把他的屍體釘在伯．珊的城牆上。
