About brotherly love: You don’t need me to write you because you yourselves are taught by God to love one another.In fact, you are doing this toward all the brothers in the entire region of Macedonia. But we encourage you, brothers, to do so even more,

The second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.

Do not owe anyone anything, except to love one another, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.

See to it that no one repays evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good for one another and for all.

We must always thank God for you, brothers. This is right, since your faith is flourishing and the love each one of you has for one another is increasing.

Dear friends, let us love one another, because love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.The one who does not love does not know God, because God is love.God’s love was revealed among us in this way: God sent His One and Only Son into the world so that we might live through Him.Love consists in this: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.Dear friends, if God loved us in this way, we also must love one another.No one has ever seen God. If we love one another, God remains in us and His love is perfected in us.This is how we know that we remain in Him and He in us: He has given assurance to us from His Spirit.And we have seen and we testify that the Father has sent His Son as the world’s Savior.Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God— God remains in him and he in God.And we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and the one who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision accomplishes anything; what matters is faith working through love.

Therefore, whatever you want others to do for you, do also the same for them— this is the Law and the Prophets.

Every generous act and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights; with Him there is no variation or shadow cast by turning.

We cared so much for you that we were pleased to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us.

For you were called to be free, brothers; only don’t use this freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but serve one another through love.For the entire law is fulfilled in one statement: Love your neighbor as yourself.

godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love.

Finally then, brothers, we ask and encourage you in the Lord Jesus, that as you have received from us how you must walk and please God— as you are doing— do so even more.

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

The apostles said to the Lord,“ Increase our faith.”

If I speak human or angelic languages but do not have love, I am a sounding gong or a clanging cymbal.If I have the gift of prophecy and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith so that I can move mountains but do not have love, I am nothing.And if I donate all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body in order to boast but do not have love, I gain nothing.Love is patient, love is kind. Love does not envy, is not boastful, is not conceited,does not act improperly, is not selfish, is not provoked, and does not keep a record of wrongs.Love finds no joy in unrighteousness but rejoices in the truth.It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.Love never ends. But as for prophecies, they will come to an end; as for languages, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will come to an end.For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.But when the perfect comes, the partial will come to an end.When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put aside childish things.For now we see indistinctly, as in a mirror, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, as I am fully known.Now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Now the One who provides seed for the sower and bread for food will provide and multiply your seed and increase the harvest of your righteousness.
