Let the rivers clap their hands in glee! Let the hills sing out their songs of joybefore the Lord, for he is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world with justice, and the nations with fairness.

But I will keep on hoping for your help; I will praise you more and more.I will tell everyone about your righteousness. All day long I will proclaim your saving power, though I am not skilled with words.

You must eat these in the presence of the Lord your God at the place he will choose. Eat them there with your children, your servants, and the Levites who live in your towns, celebrating in the presence of the Lord your God in all you do.

We always thank God for all of you and pray for you constantly.As we pray to our God and Father about you, we think of your faithful work, your loving deeds, and the enduring hope you have because of our Lord Jesus Christ.

This is a time to celebrate before the Lord your God at the designated place of worship he will choose for his name to be honored. Celebrate with your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, the Levites from your towns, and the foreigners, orphans, and widows who live among you.

“ When you drive out the nations that live there, you must destroy all the places where they worship their gods— high on the mountains, up on the hills, and under every green tree.

So we have been greatly encouraged in the midst of our troubles and suffering, dear brothers and sisters, because you have remained strong in your faith.It gives us new life to know that you are standing firm in the Lord.

After all, what gives us hope and joy, and what will be our proud reward and crown as we stand before our Lord Jesus when he returns? It is you!

Then King David went in and sat before the Lord and prayed,“ Who am I, O Sovereign Lord, and what is my family, that you have brought me this far?And now, Sovereign Lord, in addition to everything else, you speak of giving your servant a lasting dynasty! Do you deal with everyone this way, O Sovereign Lord?“ What more can I say to you? You know what your servant is really like, Sovereign Lord.

Then the leaders of the Levites— Jeshua, Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabneiah, Sherebiah, Hodiah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah— called out to the people:“ Stand up and praise the Lord your God, for he lives from everlasting to everlasting!” Then they prayed:“ May your glorious name be praised! May it be exalted above all blessing and praise!

But let the godly rejoice. Let them be glad in God’s presence. Let them be filled with joy.

David retorted to Michal,“ I was dancing before the Lord, who chose me above your father and all his family! He appointed me as the leader of Israel, the people of the Lord, so I celebrate before the Lord.

But thank God! He has made us his captives and continues to lead us along in Christ’s triumphal procession. Now he uses us to spread the knowledge of Christ everywhere, like a sweet perfume.
