I said to him,“ Sir, you know.” Then he told me: These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.For this reason they are before the throne of God, and they serve him day and night in his temple. The one seated on the throne will shelter them:They will no longer hunger; they will no longer thirst; the sun will no longer strike them, nor will any scorching heat.For the Lamb who is at the center of the throne will shepherd them; he will guide them to springs of the waters of life, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

For we say this to you by a word from the Lord: We who are still alive at the Lord’s coming will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep.

If anyone serves me, he must follow me. Where I am, there my servant also will be. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.

Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn over him. So it is to be. Amen.

I continued watching in the night visions, and suddenly one like a son of man was coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was escorted before him.

After he had said this, he was taken up as they were watching, and a cloud took him out of their sight.

In fact, we are confident, and we would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.

When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord carried Philip away, and the eunuch did not see him any longer but went on his way rejoicing.

I know a man in Christ who was caught up to the third heaven fourteen years ago. Whether he was in the body or out of the body, I don’t know; God knows.I know that this man— whether in the body or out of the body I don’t know; God knows—was caught up into paradise and heard inexpressible words, which a human being is not allowed to speak.

“ You have said it,” Jesus told him.“ But I tell you, in the future you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

The sun will no longer be your light by day, and the brightness of the moon will not shine on you. The LORD will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your splendor.Your sun will no longer set, and your moon will not fade; for the LORD will be your everlasting light, and the days of your sorrow will be over.

Death will be no more; grief, crying, and pain will be no more, because the previous things have passed away.Then the one seated on the throne said,“ Look, I am making everything new.” He also said,“ Write, because these words are faithful and true.”Then he said to me,“ It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will freely give to the thirsty from the spring of the water of life.The one who conquers will inherit these things, and I will be his God, and he will be my son.

and there will no longer be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will worship him.They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.Night will be no more; people will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, because the Lord God will give them light, and they will reign forever and ever.

She gave birth to a Son, a male who is going to rule all nations with an iron rod. Her child was caught up to God and to his throne.

But I will see your face in righteousness; when I awake, I will be satisfied with your presence.

“ I am,” said Jesus,“ and you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power and coming with the clouds of heaven.”

Then the sons of the prophets said to Elisha,“ Since there are fifty strong men here with your servants, please let them go and search for your master. Maybe the Spirit of the LORD has carried him away and put him on one of the mountains or into one of the valleys.” He answered,“ Don’t send them.”

You reveal the path of life to me; in your presence is abundant joy; at your right hand are eternal pleasures.

But when I leave you, the Spirit of the LORD may carry you off to some place I don’t know. Then when I go report to Ahab and he doesn’t find you, he will kill me. But I, your servant, have feared the LORD from my youth.

I am torn between the two. I long to depart and be with Christ— which is far better—

As they continued walking and talking, a chariot of fire with horses of fire suddenly appeared and separated the two of them. Then Elijah went up into heaven in the whirlwind.

I did not see a temple in it, because the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, because the glory of God illuminates it, and its lamp is the Lamb.

and the ransomed of the LORD will return and come to Zion with singing, crowned with unending joy. Joy and gladness will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee.

But based on his promise, we wait for new heavens and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.

You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me up in glory.

But God will redeem me from the power of Sheol, for he will take me. Selah
