For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

上帝只有一位，在上帝和人類之間只有一位中保，就是降世為人的基督耶穌。

上帝只有一位，在上帝與人之間、中保也只有一位，就是作人的基督耶穌。

要知道，神只有一位，在神和人之間的中保也只有一位，就是成為人的基督耶穌；

蓋上帝惟一、上帝與人之間、中保亦惟一、是亦人也、即基督耶穌也、

上帝惟一、有上帝、有世人、其間中保亦惟一、基督耶穌即其人也、

蓋天主惟一、在天主世人之間、中保亦惟一、即降世為人之基督耶穌、

夫天主一而已矣、而介居天主與人之間者、亦一而已矣、則基督耶穌其人也。

For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus,

There is only one God. And there is only one go- between for God and human beings. He is the man Christ Jesus.

Now a mediator is not between one, but God is one.

yet to us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we live through him.

Hear, Israel: Yahweh is our God. Yahweh is one.

For this reason he is the mediator of a new covenant, since a death has occurred for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, that those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

Therefore he is also able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, seeing that he lives forever to make intercession for them.

This is what Yahweh, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, Yahweh of Armies, says:“ I am the first, and I am the last; and besides me there is no God.

who, existing in the form of God, didn’t consider equality with God a thing to be grasped,but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men.And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to the point of death, yes, the death of the cross.

Or is God the God of Jews only? Isn’t he the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also,since indeed there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith, and the uncircumcised through faith.

The Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.

The angel said to them,“ Don’t be afraid, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be to all the people.For there is born to you today, in David’s city, a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on him.

This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ.

to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better than that of Abel.

But one has somewhere testified, saying,“ What is man, that you think of him? Or the son of man, that you care for him?You made him a little lower than the angels. You crowned him with glory and honor.You have put all things in subjection under his feet.” For in that he subjected all things to him, he left nothing that is not subject to him. But now we don’t see all things subjected to him, yet.But we see him who has been made a little lower than the angels, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God he should taste of death for everyone.For it became him, for whom are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many children to glory, to make the author of their salvation perfect through sufferings.For both he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all from one, for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brothers,saying,“ I will declare your name to my brothers. Among the congregation I will sing your praise.”Again,“ I will put my trust in him.” Again,“ Behold, here I am with the children whom God has given me.”

And among the lamp stands was one like a son of man, clothed with a robe reaching down to his feet, and with a golden sash around his chest.

“ Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall give birth to a son. They shall call his name Immanuel;” which is, being interpreted,“ God with us.”

There is no umpire between us, that might lay his hand on us both.

Jesus answered,“ The greatest is,‘ Hear, Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one:you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.The second is like this,‘ You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”The scribe said to him,“ Truly, teacher, you have said well that he is one, and there is none other but he,and to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbor as himself, is more important than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.”

Therefore concerning the eating of things sacrificed to idols, we know that no idol is anything in the world, and that there is no other God but one.

But now he has obtained a more excellent ministry, by so much as he is also the mediator of a better covenant, which on better promises has been given as law.

one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all, and in us all.

So also it is written,“ The first man, Adam, became a living soul.” The last Adam became a life- giving spirit.However that which is spiritual isn’t first, but that which is natural, then that which is spiritual.The first man is of the earth, made of dust. The second man is the Lord from heaven.
