For Scripture says,“ Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain,” and“ The worker deserves his wages.”

Scripture says,“ Do not stop an ox from eating while it helps separate the grain from the straw.”( Deuteronomy 25:4) Scripture also says,“ Workers are worthy of their pay.”( Luke 10:7)

For the Scripture says,“ You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain,” and,“ The laborer deserves his wages.”

For the Scripture says,“ You must not muzzle an ox to keep it from eating as it treads out the grain.” And in another place,“ Those who work deserve their pay!”

「牛在踹穀的時候，不可籠住牠的嘴。」

有誰當兵而自備糧餉呢？有誰栽葡萄園而不吃園裏的果子呢？有誰牧養牛羊而不喝牛羊的奶呢？我說這些話豈是照一般人的看法？律法不也是這樣說嗎？就如摩西的律法記着：「牛在踹穀的時候，不可籠住牠的嘴。」難道神所掛念的是牛嗎？他不全是為我們說的嗎？的確是為我們說的！因為耕種的要存着指望去耕種；收割的也要存着分享穀物的指望去收割。

主也是這樣命令，要傳福音的人靠着福音養生。

你們要住在那家，吃喝他們所供給的，因為工人得工錢是應當的；不要從這家搬到那家。

途中不要帶行囊，不要帶兩件內衣，也不要帶鞋子和手杖，因為工人得飲食是應當的。

「困苦貧窮的雇工，無論是你的弟兄，或是住在你境內，在你城裏寄居的，你都不可欺負他。要當日給他工錢，不可等到日落，因為他困苦，需要靠工錢過活，免得他因你的緣故求告耶和華，罪就歸於你了。

「不可欺壓你的鄰舍，也不可偷盜。雇工的工錢不可在你那裏過夜，留到早晨。

經上說：「神愛安置在我們裏面的靈，愛到嫉妒的地步。」你們以為這話是徒然的嗎？

經上說：「凡信靠他的人必不蒙羞。」

聖經既然預先看見神要使外邦人因信稱義，預先傳福音給亞伯拉罕，說：「萬國都必因你得福。」

經上說甚麼呢？「亞伯拉罕信了神，這就算他為義。」

因為經上有話對法老說：「我將你興起來，特要在你身上彰顯我的權能，為要使我的名傳遍全地。」

神並沒有棄絕他預先所知道的百姓。你們豈不知道經上論到以利亞是怎麼說的呢？他在神面前怎樣控告以色列人說：
