無知而自衒、辯論是務、言啟爭端、媢嫉爭競、訕謗惡意、由此而生、

此人乃心驕、一無所知、專好辯問鬥辭、由此生妒嫉、爭競、訕謗、妄疑、

是必妄自尊大、懵然無知者也。若輩酖心空言辯論、於是嫉妒紛爭、詆毀猜忌、無所不至、

Anyone who teaches something different is arrogant and lacks understanding. Such a person has an unhealthy desire to quibble over the meaning of words. This stirs up arguments ending in jealousy, division, slander, and evil suspicions.

My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, (niv)

Can such faith save them?Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food.If one of you says to them,“ Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.But someone will say,“ You have faith; I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds.
