Give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may lead this people, for who is able to govern this great people of yours?”

Give me wisdom and knowledge. Then I’ll be able to lead these people. Without your help, who would be able to rule this great nation of yours?”

Give me now wisdom and knowledge to go out and come in before this people, for who can govern this people of yours, which is so great?”

Make your ear attentive to wisdom; Incline your heart to understanding.For if you cry out for insight, And raise your voice for understanding;If you seek her as silver And search for her as for hidden treasures;Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, And discover the knowledge of God.For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding.

Not that we are adequate in ourselves so as to consider anything as having come from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God,

And he said to them,“ I am 120 years old today; I am no longer able to go out and come in, and the Lord has told me,‘ You shall not cross this Jordan.’

Give me understanding, so that I may comply with Your Law And keep it with all my heart.

The beginning of wisdom is: Acquire wisdom; And with all your possessions, acquire understanding.

Your hands made me and fashioned me; Give me understanding, so that I may learn Your commandments.

Blessed is a person who finds wisdom, And one who obtains understanding.For her profit is better than the profit of silver, And her produce better than gold.She is more precious than jewels, And nothing you desire compares with her.Long life is in her right hand; In her left hand are riches and honor.Her ways are pleasant ways, And all her paths are peace.She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her, And happy are those who hold on to her.

But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
