所祭祀的鬼魔并非真神，乃是素不认识的神，是近来新兴的，是你列祖所不畏惧的。

耶罗波安在邱坛那里建殿，将那不属利未人的凡民立为祭司。

摩西回到耶和华那里，说：“唉！这百姓犯了大罪，为自己做了金像。

现今他们罪上加罪，用银子为自己铸造偶像，就是照自己的聪明制造，都是匠人的工作。有人论说，献祭的人可以向牛犊亲嘴。

圣灵明说，在后来的时候，必有人离弃真道，听从那引诱人的邪灵和鬼魔的道理。

他们在何烈山造了牛犊，叩拜铸成的像。如此将他们荣耀的主换为吃草之牛的像，

他们本是鬼魔的灵，施行奇事，出去到普天下众王那里，叫他们在神全能者的大日聚集争战。

撒玛利亚啊，耶和华已经丢弃你的牛犊；我的怒气向拜牛犊的人发作。他们到几时方能无罪呢？这牛犊出于以色列，是匠人所造的，并不是神。撒玛利亚的牛犊必被打碎。

你竟行恶，比那在你以先的更甚，为自己立了别神，铸了偶像，惹我发怒，将我丢在背后。

我乃是说，外邦人所献的祭是祭鬼，不是祭神。我不愿意你们与鬼相交。你们不能喝主的杯又喝鬼的杯，不能吃主的筵席又吃鬼的筵席。
