Those from every tribe of Israel who set their hearts on seeking the Lord, the God of Israel, followed the Levites to Jerusalem to offer sacrifices to the Lord, the God of their ancestors.

Some people from every tribe in Israel followed the Levites to Jerusalem. With all their hearts they wanted to worship the Lord. He is the God of Israel. They came to Jerusalem to offer sacrifices to him. He was the God of their people of long ago.

And those who had set their hearts to seek the Lord God of Israel came after them from all the tribes of Israel to Jerusalem to sacrifice to the Lord, the God of their fathers.

以色列族見上帝耶和華眷祐亞撒、以法蓮、馬拿西、西面三族之賓旅、多歸焉。亞撒召之、亦召猶大便雅憫族眾、於十五年三月、俱至耶路撒冷。

今萬有之主耶和華曰、當察爾所為、

故爾當盡心盡意、崇爾上帝耶和華、爾其興作、建爾上帝耶和華聖所、舁其法匱、攜其聖器、入爾所建之殿、為籲耶和華名之所。

王聞言不悅、欲救但以理、中心籌畫、至於日沒、

大闢曰、耶和華上帝之殿、以色列族燔祭之壇、宜建於此。

如爾所得之地、以為不潔、則歸耶和華會幕所立之地、在我儕中得業亦可、但勿違耶和華及我、除我上帝耶和華壇外、勿更築壇。

上帝兮、余志已決、竭余心思、謳歌而頌美之兮、

爾即財貨豐饒、勿以為樂、況虐人奪人、更不可以此浮財自恃、

爾之上帝耶和華、於爾支派中、特簡一室、為爾族籲名之所、爾必詣斯室以禱告。爾之燔祭、祀品、所應輸之什一、所奉獻許願樂輸之禮物、及牛羊首生之牡者、俱必攜之至彼、

如定其意旨、不使人通呼吸、

以法蓮、馬拿西、以薩迦、西布倫、所至民眾、未潔其體、守逾越節、不循常例、希西家禱曰、如人崇列祖之上帝耶和華、惟一其心、雖不潔己、循聖所之例、耶和華無不善、願蒙赦宥。

以榮光歸耶和華、獻以禮物、清心崇拜、斯為美。

惟爾是恃、願詣爾殿者、蒙其綏祉兮、雖過旱谷、亦若有泉、如秋霖之潤澤、得福祉之孔多兮、行程遞進、其力愈奮、終詣郇邑、得覲上帝兮。

慎勿隨在獻其燔祭。惟於爾支派中、耶和華所簡之處、在彼獻祭、循我所命。

曰我今日告爾之言、汝必藏諸衷曲、亦當諭諸子孫、從此律法。

既至見上帝有恩於彼、則喜、勸眾堅心事主、毋倦、

我民犯罪、獻贖罪之祭、祭司食犧牲、反行惡事、從心所欲、

其不以耶和華命為意者、僕眾與群畜、仍遺於田。○

撒母耳告以色列眾曰、如爾盡心歸耶和華、則他上帝及亞大綠、必絕於爾中、當備爾心、獨事耶和華、則彼援爾於非利士人手。以色列族遂去諸巴力及亞大綠、獨事耶和華。

亞設、馬拿西、西布倫中有數人、卑以自牧、詣耶路撒冷。

則所命之燔祭、禮物、所應輸之什一、所奉獻、所許願、以供耶和華者、俱必攜之、至爾上帝耶和華所簡之室、籲名之所、
