“ Tell Rehoboam the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and all Israel in Judah and Benjamin, saying,

我出生后第八天就受了割礼，我是以色列人，属于便雅悯支派，是地地道道的希伯来人。论守律法，我是法利赛人；

我听见以色列各支派中盖了印的共有十四万四千人：犹大支派有一万二千，吕便支派有一万二千，迦得支派有一万二千，亚设支派有一万二千，拿弗他利支派有一万二千，玛拿西支派有一万二千，西缅支派有一万二千，利未支派有一万二千，以萨迦支派有一万二千，西布伦支派有一万二千，约瑟支派有一万二千，便雅悯支派有一万二千。

以上是以色列的十二支派，他们的父亲按着他们不同的福分给他们祝福。

直到现在，他们仍然执迷不悟，不敬畏耶和华，也不遵行耶和华赐给雅各子孙的律例、典章、法度和诫命。耶和华曾给雅各取名叫以色列，

摩西把耶和华的这些话记录下来。第二天清晨，摩西在山脚筑了一座坛，立了十二根柱子代表以色列的十二支派。
