All Judah rejoiced about the oath because they had sworn it wholeheartedly. They sought God eagerly, and he was found by them. So the Lord gave them rest on every side.

患難之際、則向以色列族之上帝耶和華而求、得沾其恩。

相約一心一意、宗事列祖之上帝耶和華、

我非恃人智、恃上帝恩、以上帝所賦之丹心誠意、往來於世、在爾間為尤甚、此我所喜、心所證也、

上帝感動其民、民奉行維速、希西家與民偕樂。

耶何耶大與王及民約、使民為耶和華民。民往毀巴力殿、摧其祭壇、破其偶像、殺其祭司馬擔於壇前。昔大闢立利未人、及祭司之班列、在耶和華殿、欣喜、謳歌、燔祭、循摩西例、今耶何耶大法而為之、使閽人守殿門、不潔者不許入、自率百夫長、有能之士、方伯及國人、衛王、自耶和華殿、由崇門、入王宮、以踐國位。亞大利既殺、民咸欣喜、共享平康。

凡我有命、不秘藏於幽密、我豈使雅各子孫、徒然求予哉、我耶和華出言仁義、真實無妄。

我際兩難之間、甚欲歸、與基督共在為愈美、

主所福、誰能禍之、主所禍、誰能福之、其待人或一國、或匹夫、無二理也。

緣爾上帝耶和華以福嘏錫爾、爰及眷聚、當欣喜懽忭、亦使利未人及主爾家之賓旅、無不偕樂。

耶和華與、遵爾律例、余仰望爾、中心所願、念爾弗置。

我欲與以色列族之上帝耶和華約、望息震怒。

耶和華使以色列族脫於諸敵、安居斯土、歷日已久、約書亞壽高年邁、

國相攻、民相殺、蓋上帝降以厲災。

往迓亞撒、告之曰、亞撒及猶大、便雅憫二族、其聽我言、如爾從耶和華、則蒙其祐、求之無弗得、遺之必見棄。

民聞書所云、咸哭、方伯尼希米、選士祭司以士喇、與訓民之利未人、告眾曰、今乃聖日、奉事爾之上帝耶和華、毋哀哭。

從其道者、享懽樂、得平康。

善人兮、念耶和華之恩、以悅以娛、義人兮、載歡載呼。

爾之典章、惟義是據、余誓欲守之兮、

我以爾道為畢生之業、俾我心欣喜兮、
