When Asa heard these words and the prophecy of Azariah son of Oded the prophet, he took courage. He removed the detestable idols from the whole land of Judah and Benjamin and from the towns he had captured in the hills of Ephraim. He repaired the altar of the Lord that was in front of the portico of the Lord’s temple.

Asa heard that prophecy. He paid attention to the words of Azariah the prophet, the son of Oded. So Asa became bolder than ever. He removed the statues of gods from the whole land of Judah and Benjamin. He also removed them from the towns he had captured in the hills of Ephraim. He did it because the Lord hated those gods. Asa repaired the altar of the Lord. It was in front of the porch of the Lord’ s temple.

As soon as Asa heard these words, the prophecy of Azariah the son of Oded, he took courage and put away the detestable idols from all the land of Judah and Benjamin and from the cities that he had taken in the hill country of Ephraim, and he repaired the altar of the Lord that was in front of the vestibule of the house of the Lord.

When Asa heard this message from Azariah the prophet, he took courage and removed all the detestable idols from the land of Judah and Benjamin and in the towns he had captured in the hill country of Ephraim. And he repaired the altar of the Lord, which stood in front of the entry room of the Lord’s Temple.

He then restored the altar of the Lord which was in front of the porch of the Lord.

He removed the detestable idols from the entire land of Judah and Benjamin and from the cities he had seized in the Ephraimite hill country. He repaired the altar of the LORD in front of the porch of the LORD’s temple.

When Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominations out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from the hill country of Ephraim; and he renewed Yahweh’s altar that was before Yahweh’s porch.

他砍伐香柏木，或從林中選取柏木和橡木。他栽種松樹，雨水使它長大。

也許你會說，『我們倚靠我們的上帝耶和華。』希西迦不是拆除了祂的廟宇和祭壇，又吩咐猶大和耶路撒冷的人要在耶路撒冷的祭壇前敬拜祂嗎？

在耶路撒冷東面的山上，所羅門为摩押人可憎的神明基抹和亞捫人可憎的神明摩洛修建邱壇。

那婦人身穿紫色和朱紅色的袍子，用黃金、寶石及珍珠裝扮自己。她手中拿著金杯，裡面盛滿了她淫亂的污穢、可憎之物。在她額上還寫了一個神秘的名號：「大巴比倫——地上淫婦及可憎事物之母」。

我進去後，看見四周的牆上畫滿了各種爬蟲、可憎的獸類和以色列人拜的神像。

凡有關耶和華的事，由亞瑪利雅大祭司監督你們；凡有關君王的事，由猶大支派的族長以實瑪利的兒子西巴第雅監督你們。利未人做官長協助你們。你們要行事勇敢，願耶和華與正直的人同在！」

他污瀆耶路撒冷東面、敗壞山南面的邱壇。這些邱壇都是以色列王所羅門為西頓人可憎的神明亞斯她錄、摩押人可憎的神明基抹和亞捫人可憎的神明米勒公建造的。

你們要遵守我的命令，不要效法那片土地上居民的惡俗，以致玷污自己。我是你們的上帝耶和華。」
