以色列族見上帝耶和華眷祐亞撒、以法蓮、馬拿西、西面三族之賓旅、多歸焉。亞撒召之、亦召猶大便雅憫族眾、於十五年三月、俱至耶路撒冷。

招聚猶大便雅憫人眾、及旅其中之以法蓮人、瑪拿西人、西緬人、蓋歸降亞撒之以色列人甚眾、因見主其天主祐之、

Then he assembled all Judah and Benjamin and the people from Ephraim, Manasseh and Simeon who had settled among them, for large numbers had come over to him from Israel when they saw that the Lord his God was with him.

Then Asa gathered together all the people of Judah and Benjamin. He also gathered together the people from Ephraim, Manasseh and Simeon who were living among them. Large numbers of people had come over to him from Israel. They came because they saw that the Lord his God was with him.

And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and those from Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon who were residing with them, for great numbers had deserted to him from Israel when they saw that the Lord his God was with him.

Then Asa called together all the people of Judah and Benjamin, along with the people of Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon who had settled among them. For many from Israel had moved to Judah during Asa’s reign when they saw that the Lord his God was with him.

Then he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, as well as those from the tribes of Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon who were residing among them, for they had defected to him from Israel in great numbers when they saw that the LORD his God was with him.

And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and those from Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon who resided with them, for many defected to him from Israel when they saw that the Lord his God was with him.

Then he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and those who dwelt with them from Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon, for they came over to him in great numbers from Israel when they saw that the Lord his God was with him.

And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and them that sojourned with them out of Ephraim and Manasseh, and out of Simeon: for they fell to him out of Israel in abundance, when they saw that Jehovah his God was with him.

Then he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, as well as those from the tribes of Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon who had settled among them, for they had defected to him from Israel in great numbers when they saw that Yahweh his God was with him.

And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and the strangers with them out of Ephraim and Manasseh, and out of Simeon: for they fell to him out of Israel in abundance, when they saw that the LORD his God[ was] with him.

He assembled all Judah and Benjamin, as well as the settlers from Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon who had come to live with them. Many people from Israel had come there to live when they saw that the LORD his God was with him.

He gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and those who lived with them out of Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon; for they came to him out of Israel in abundance when they saw that Yahweh his God was with him.

以色列各支派中，凡立定心意寻求耶和华—以色列上帝的，都随从利未人来到耶路撒冷献祭给耶和华—他们列祖的上帝。

那时，犹太、加利利、撒玛利亚各处的教会都得平安，建立起来，凡事敬畏主，蒙圣灵的安慰，人数逐渐增多。

大卫从前与非利士人同去，要与扫罗争战，有些玛拿西人来投奔大卫。其实他们并没有帮助非利士人，因为非利士人的领袖商议，打发他回去，说：“恐怕大卫拿我们的首级去向他的主人扫罗投诚。”

全以色列听见王这样判断，就都敬畏王，因为他们看见他心中有上帝的智慧，能够断案。

扫罗见耶和华与大卫同在，女儿米甲又爱大卫，

他主人见耶和华与他同在，又见耶和华使他手里所办的事都顺利，

犹大全会众、祭司、利未人和从以色列来的全会众，以及那些从以色列地来的和住在犹大的寄居的人，尽都喜乐。

希西家派人去见以色列和犹大众人，又写信给以法莲和玛拿西人，要他们到耶路撒冷耶和华的殿，向耶和华—以色列的上帝守逾越节，因为王和众领袖，以及耶路撒冷全会众已经商议，要在二月份守逾越节。那时他们不能守，因为分别为圣的祭司不够，百姓也还没有聚集在耶路撒冷。这事在王与全会众眼中都看为合宜。于是他们下令，通告全以色列，从别是巴直到但，吩咐百姓都来，在耶路撒冷向耶和华—以色列的上帝守逾越节，因为他们已经许久没有照所写的守这节了。信差遵着王命，拿着王和众领袖所发的信，送达全以色列和犹大，说：“以色列人哪，当转向耶和华—亚伯拉罕、以撒、以色列的上帝，好叫他转向你们这些脱离亚述诸王之手的余民。不要效法你们的祖先和你们的弟兄；他们干犯耶和华—他们列祖的上帝，以致耶和华使他们令人惊骇，正如你们所见的。现在，不要像你们祖先硬着颈项，只要归顺耶和华，进入他的圣所，就是永远成圣的居所，又要事奉耶和华—你们的上帝，好使他的烈怒转离你们。你们若转向耶和华，你们的弟兄和儿女必在掳掠他们的人面前蒙怜悯，得以归回这地，因为耶和华—你们的上帝有恩惠，有怜悯。你们若转向他，他必不会转脸不顾你们。”信差从这城跑到那城，传遍了以法莲和玛拿西之地，直到西布伦；那里的人却戏笑他们，讥诮他们。然而亚设、玛拿西、西布伦中也有人谦卑自己，来到耶路撒冷。

这城的居民必到那城，说：‘我们快去恳求耶和华的恩，寻求万军之耶和华；我自己也要去。’必有许多民族和强盛的国家来到耶路撒冷寻求万军之耶和华，恳求耶和华的恩。万军之耶和华如此说：在那些日子，列国中说各种语言的人，必有十个人强拉住一个犹大人衣服的边，说：‘我们要与你们同去，因为我们听见上帝与你们同在了。’”

这样，以色列背叛大卫家，直到今日。

“先祖嫉妒约瑟，把他卖到埃及去，上帝却与他同在，救他脱离一切苦难，又使他在埃及王法老面前蒙恩，又有智慧。法老派他作埃及国的宰相兼管法老的全家。
