Now Zedekiah son of Kenaanah had made iron horns, and he declared,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ With these you will gore the Arameans until they are destroyed.’”

Zedekiah was the son of Kenaanah. Zedekiah had made horns out of iron. They looked like animal horns. He announced,“ The Lord says,‘ With these horns you will drive back the men of Aram until they are destroyed.’ ”

And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made for himself horns of iron and said,“ Thus says the Lord,‘ With these you shall push the Syrians until they are destroyed.’”

One of them, Zedekiah son of Kenaanah, made some iron horns and proclaimed,“ This is what the Lord says: With these horns you will gore the Arameans to death!”

Then Zedekiah son of Chenaanah made iron horns and said,“ This is what the LORD says: You will gore the Arameans with these until they are finished off.”

Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made horns of iron for himself and said,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ With these you will gore the Arameans until they are destroyed!’ ”

Now Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah had made horns of iron for himself; and he said,“ Thus says the Lord:‘ With these you shall gore the Syrians until they are destroyed.’”

And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made him horns of iron and said, Thus saith Jehovah, With these shalt thou push the Syrians, until they be consumed.

这地的先知用灰泥给他们粉刷墙壁，为他们见虚假的异象，行骗人的占卜，说：‘主耶和华这样说’，其实当时耶和华并没有说话。

“万军之耶和华以色列的神这样说：‘我已经折断了巴比伦王的轭。在两年之内，我必把耶和华殿中的一切器皿，就是巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒从这地方掠到巴比伦去的，都带回这地方。

我又举目观看，看见有四个角。于是我问那与我说话的天使：“这些是什么？”他对我说：“这些就是把犹大、以色列和耶路撒冷赶散的角。”耶和华又使我看见四个匠人。于是我说：“这些人来作什么？”那天使回答：“他们就是把犹大赶散的角，以致没有一人可以抬起头来；但这些匠人要来惊吓列国，打掉他们的角；这些列国就是曾经举起他们的角攻击犹大地，把犹大地的人赶散的。”（本章第18~21节在《马索拉文本》为2:1~4）

“看哪！那些先知用自己的舌头说：‘这是耶和华的宣告’，我要对付他们。”这是耶和华的宣告。

他们不断对那些藐视我的人说：‘耶和华说：你们必平安无事！’又对所有随从自己顽梗的心行事的人说：‘灾祸必不临到你们！’”

“那些先知所说的话我都听见了，他们冒我的名说虚假的预言：‘我作了梦！我作了梦！’

“万军之耶和华以色列的神这样说：‘论到冒我的名向你们说虚假预言的哥赖雅的儿子亚哈和玛西雅的儿子西底家，我要把他们交在巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒的手中，他要在你们眼前击杀他们。

于是哈拿尼雅先知把耶利米先知颈项上的轭取下来，折断了。哈拿尼雅又当着众民面前说：“耶和华这样说：‘两年之内，我必这样从列国的颈项上，折断巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒的轭。’”于是耶利米先知就走了。哈拿尼雅先知把耶利米先知颈项上的轭折断了以后，耶和华的话就临到耶利米，说：“你去告诉哈拿尼雅说：‘耶和华这样说：你折断了木轭，却要换来铁轭。因为万军之耶和华以色列的神这样说：我要把铁轭套在这些国家的颈项上，使他们服事巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒；他们要服事他，连田野的走兽，我也交给他了。’”

你们不是见了虚假的异象，不是说了骗人的占卜吗？你们还说：‘这是耶和华的宣告。’其实我并没有说过。”

从前阎儡和阎悖怎样反对摩西，这些人也怎样反对真理。他们的心思败坏，信仰也经不起考验。

“我没有差派这些先知，但他们自己到处跑；我没有对他们说话，他们竟擅自说预言。

“耶和华对我这样说：‘你要用绳套和木头做轭，套在自己的颈上。
