米該雅說：「我指着永生的耶和華起誓，我的神說甚麼，我就說甚麼。」

米該雅說：「我指着永生的耶和華起誓，我的上帝說甚麼，我就說甚麼。」

米該雅說：「我指着永生的耶和華起誓，我的神說甚麼，我就說甚麼。」

米該雅回答說：「我憑永活的耶和華起誓，我的上帝對我說什麼，我就說什麼。」

米該雅說：“我指著永活的耶和華起誓，我的神說甚麼，我就說甚麼。”

米該雅說：『我指着永活的永恆主來起誓，我的上帝說甚麼，我就說甚麼。』

米該雅曰、我指維生之耶和華而誓、我上帝所諭者、我必言之、

米該亞曰、我指耶和華以誓、必循上帝命而言。

米該雅曰、我指永生主而誓、我天主所諭我者、我必言之、

But Micaiah said,“ As surely as the Lord lives, I can tell him only what my God says.”

But Micaiah said,“ You can be sure that the Lord lives. And you can be just as sure that I can only tell the king what my God says.”

But Micaiah said,“ As the Lord lives, what my God says, that I will speak.”

But Micaiah replied,“ As surely as the Lord lives, I will say only what my God says.”

But Micaiah said,“ As the LORD lives, I will say whatever my God says.”

But Micaiah said,“ As the Lord lives, whatever my God says, I will speak it.”

And Micaiah said,“ As the Lord lives, whatever my God says, that I will speak.”

And Micaiah said, As Jehovah liveth, what my God saith, that will I speak.

But Micaiah said,“ As the Lord lives, I will say whatever my God says.”

And Micaiah said,[ As] the LORD liveth, even what my God saith, that will I speak.

But Micaiah said,“ As certainly as the LORD lives, I will say what my God tells me to say!”

Micaiah said,“ As Yahweh lives, I will say what my God says.”

The angel of the Lord said to Balaam,“ Go with the men, but speak only what I tell you.” So Balaam went with Balak’s officials. (niv)

‘ Even if Balak gave me all the silver and gold in his palace, I could not do anything of my own accord, good or bad, to go beyond the command of the Lord— and I must say only what the Lord says’? (niv)

But Balaam answered them,“ Even if Balak gave me all the silver and gold in his palace, I could not do anything great or small to go beyond the command of the Lord my God.Now spend the night here so that I can find out what else the Lord will tell me.”That night God came to Balaam and said,“ Since these men have come to summon you, go with them, but do only what I tell you.” (niv)

Balaam answered,“ Did I not tell you I must do whatever the Lord says?” (niv)

Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, as those sent from God. (niv)

You must speak my words to them, whether they listen or fail to listen, for they are rebellious. (niv)

For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, (niv)

“ Do not prophesy,” their prophets say.“ Do not prophesy about these things; disgrace will not overtake us.”You descendants of Jacob, should it be said,“ Does the Lord become impatient? Does he do such things?”“ Do not my words do good to the one whose ways are upright? (niv)

He answered,“ Must I not speak what the Lord puts in my mouth?” (niv)

For I have not hesitated to proclaim to you the whole will of God. (niv)

But Micaiah said,“ As surely as the Lord lives, I can tell him only what the Lord tells me.” (niv)

Let the prophet who has a dream recount the dream, but let the one who has my word speak it faithfully. For what has straw to do with grain?” declares the Lord. (niv)

On the contrary, we speak as those approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. We are not trying to please people but God, who tests our hearts. (niv)

Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ. (niv)

“ I have heard you,” replied Jeremiah the prophet.“ I will certainly pray to the Lord your God as you have requested; I will tell you everything the Lord says and will keep nothing back from you.” (niv)
