Now let the fear of the Lord be on you. Judge carefully, for with the Lord our God there is no injustice or partiality or bribery.”

Have respect for the Lord. Judge carefully. He is always right. He treats everyone the same. Our God doesn’t want his judges to take money from people who want special favors.”

Now then, let the fear of the Lord be upon you. Be careful what you do, for there is no injustice with the Lord our God, or partiality or taking bribes.”

Fear the Lord and judge with integrity, for the Lord our God does not tolerate perverted justice, partiality, or the taking of bribes.”

善惡倂誅、臧否同待、此斷非爾所為、鞫天下者、豈不行義乎、

維彼磐石、其工純全、其道正直、上帝誠實旡妄、公正無私、

蓋上帝不偏視人也、

然則將何言耶、上帝有不義乎、非也、

彼得啟口曰、我誠知上帝不以貌取人、

蓋爾上帝耶和華、為萬神之神、萬主之主、惟皇上帝、有能可畏、不偏視、不受賄、為孤寡行鞫、為羇旅施仁、賜之衣食、

況不偏視王公、不歧視貧富者乎、蓋皆其所造也、

勿受賄、蓋賄使明者目盲、義者詞屈、

於爾上帝耶和華所賜之邑、按各支派、設立士師、有司、秉公鞫民、毋反其正、毋偏視人、毋受賄賂、蓋賄賂使明者目盲、義者詞屈、

夫行非義者、必反受非義、而無所偏視也、

於以色列眾中、簡其有才能者、立為民長、即千夫長、百夫長、五十夫長、十夫長、隨時鞫民、難事則以呈、細故則自鞫、

惟行義而言正、鄙視悖入之利、揮手不受賄賂、塞耳不聽流血之謀、閉目不睹邪惡之事、

於眾民中、簡其具有才能、寅畏上帝、尚誠實、惡不義之財者、立為千夫長、百夫長、五十夫長、十夫長、以治民、使其隨時鞫民、事大則呈爾、事小則自鞫、如是、彼與汝共任、而爾事輕矣、

厥手惟惡是營、而亟行之、牧伯徇情、士師貪賄、大人言其中心之惡欲、共同組織之、

我且依人而言、若我之不義彰上帝義、我將何言、上帝降怒為不義乎、曰、非也、若然、則上帝焉能鞫世耶、

至於有名望者、無論何如人、於我無與、蓋上帝不以貌視人、彼有名望者、無所增益於我、

遂遣其徒、同希律黨、就之曰、夫子、我知爾乃誠者、且以誠宣上帝道、亦不徇人、蓋不以貌取人也、

爾之牧伯悖逆、黨於盜賊、好賄賂、索苞苴、不伸孤子之冤、不理嫠婦之訟、○緣此、萬軍之主耶和華、以色列之能者曰、噫嘻、我將洩忿於我仇、報復於我敵、措手於爾、盡鍊爾渣滓、悉去爾雜質、復爾士師如初、謀臣如昔、厥後爾必稱為公義之城、忠信之邑、

主之待僕、亦當如是、勿恐嚇之、蓋知彼與爾之主在天、不以貌視人也、○

前方伯責民供億、日索糈糧與酒、銀四十舍客勒、僕從亦從而挾制之、我寅畏上帝不行是、

爾若籲不以貌視人、依行而鞫之父、則旅居斯世、自當儆惕、

至三日、語之曰、我寅畏上帝、有一策焉、爾若從之、則可得生、
