They repay me evil for the good I have done; I am overwhelmed with sorrow.

As for the one who repays evil for good, evil will not leave his house.

Since the LORD God of Israel has driven out the Amorites before his people Israel, do you think you can just take it from them?You have the right to take what Chemosh your god gives you, but we will take the land of all whom the LORD our God has driven out before us.

Should good be paid back with evil? Yet they are virtually digging a pit to kill me. Just remember how I stood before you pleading on their behalf to keep you from venting your anger on them.
