The people of Judah assembled to ask for the LORD’s help; they came from all the cities of Judah to ask for the LORD’s help.

The people of Judah came together to seek help from the Lord; indeed, they came from every town in Judah to seek him.

The people came together to ask the Lord for help. In fact, they came from every town in Judah to pray to him.

So people from all the towns of Judah came to Jerusalem to seek the Lord’s help.

Have you not rejected us, O God? O God, you do not go into battle with our armies.Give us help against the enemy, for any help men might offer is futile.By God’s power we will conquer; he will trample down our enemies.

For God will deliver Zion and rebuild the cities of Judah, and his people will again live in them and possess Zion.

Those who look to him for help are happy; their faces are not ashamed.This oppressed man cried out and the LORD heard; he saved him from all his troubles.

He appointed judges throughout the land and in each of the fortified cities of Judah.
