If evil come upon us, the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we will stand before this house, and before thee( for thy name is in this house), and cry unto thee in our affliction, and thou wilt hear and save.

‘倘有祸患临到我们，或刀兵灾殃，或瘟疫饥荒，我们在急难的时候，站在这殿前向你呼求，你必垂听而拯救，因为你的名在这殿里。’

‘若有祸患临到我们，或刀兵的惩罚，或瘟疫饥荒，我们在急难的时候，站在这殿前向你呼求，你必垂听并且拯救，因为你的名在这殿里。’

‘若有祸患临到我们，或刀兵的惩罚，或瘟疫饥荒，我们在急难的时候，站在这殿前向你呼求，你必垂听并且拯救，因为你的名在这殿里。’

‘如果我们遭遇祸患，无论是战祸、瘟疫或饥荒，当我们在急难中站在这殿前向你呼求时，你必定垂听，施行拯救，因为你的名在这殿里。’

‘如果有灾祸临到我们，无论是刀剑、刑罚、瘟疫、饥荒，我们在急难的时候，站在这殿和你的面前，向你呼求，你必垂听和施行拯救，因为你的名是在这殿内。’

『倘有禍患臨到我們，或刀兵災殃，或瘟疫饑荒，我們在急難的時候，站在這殿前向你呼求，你必垂聽而拯救，因為你的名在這殿裏。』

『若有禍患臨到我們，或刀兵的懲罰，或瘟疫饑荒，我們在急難的時候，站在這殿前向你呼求，你必垂聽並且拯救，因為你的名在這殿裏。』

『若有禍患臨到我們，或刀兵的懲罰，或瘟疫饑荒，我們在急難的時候，站在這殿前向你呼求，你必垂聽並且拯救，因為你的名在這殿裏。』

『如果我們遭遇禍患，無論是戰禍、瘟疫或饑荒，當我們在急難中站在這殿前向你呼求時，你必定垂聽，施行拯救，因為你的名在這殿裡。』

‘如果有災禍臨到我們，無論是刀劍、刑罰、瘟疫、饑荒，我們在急難的時候，站在這殿和你的面前，向你呼求，你必垂聽和施行拯救，因為你的名是在這殿內。’

「倘若有災禍臨到了我們，或是判罰之刀劍、或是瘟疫饑荒，那麼我們在急難時候就要站在這殿前、在你面前哀呼，你便要垂聽而拯救；因為你的名就在這殿裏。」

曰、災害若臨於我、或鋒刃懲罰、或疫癘饑饉、緣爾名在此室、我則立於此室與爾之前、因遇難而籲爾、爾必垂聽、而施救援、

自謂如遇災害、或興戎、或譴責、或瘟疫、或飢饉、我至斯殿、以籲爾名、立於爾前、求爾去禍、爾必垂聽援我。

自謂如遇災害、或鋒刃、或譴責、或疫癘、或饑饉、凡我遭難之時、則立此殿前呼籲主、主必俯聽救援、因主之名在此殿云、

‘ If calamity comes upon us, whether the sword of judgment, or plague or famine, we will stand in your presence before this temple that bears your Name and will cry out to you in our distress, and you will hear us and save us.’

‘ Suppose trouble comes on us. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a punishing sword, or plague or hunger. We’ll serve you. We’ll stand in front of this temple where your Name is. We’ll cry out to you when we’re in trouble. Then you will hear us. You will save us.’

‘ If disaster comes upon us, the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we will stand before this house and before you— for your name is in this house— and cry out to you in our affliction, and you will hear and save.’

They said,‘ Whenever we are faced with any calamity such as war, plague, or famine, we can come to stand in your presence before this Temple where your name is honored. We can cry out to you to save us, and you will hear us and rescue us.’

“ If disaster comes on us— sword or judgment, pestilence or famine— we will stand before this temple and before you, for your name is in this temple. We will cry out to you because of our distress, and you will hear and deliver.”

‘ If disaster comes upon us, the sword, or judgment, or plague, or famine, we will stand before this house and before You( for Your name is in this house), and cry out to You in our distress, and You will hear and save us.’

‘ If disaster comes upon us— sword, judgment, pestilence, or famine— we will stand before this temple and in Your presence( for Your name is in this temple), and cry out to You in our affliction, and You will hear and save.’

“ If disaster comes on us— sword or judgment, pestilence or famine— we will stand before this temple and before You, for Your name is in this temple. We will cry out to You because of our distress, and You will hear and deliver.”

If,[ when] evil cometh upon us,[ as] the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we stand before this house, and in thy presence,( for thy name[ is] in this house,) and cry unto thee in our affliction, then thou wilt hear and help.

‘ If disaster comes on us in the form of military attack, judgment, plague, or famine, we will stand in front of this temple before you, for you are present in this temple. We will cry out to you for help in our distress, so that you will hear and deliver us.’

If there be in the land famine, if there be pestilence, if there be blasting or mildew, locust or caterpillar; if their enemies besiege them in the land of their cities; whatsoever plague or whatsoever sickness there be;what prayer and supplication soever be made by any man, or by all thy people Israel, who shall know every man his own plague and his own sorrow, and shall spread forth his hands toward this house:then hear thou from heaven thy dwelling- place, and forgive, and render unto every man according to all his ways, whose heart thou knowest( for thou, even thou only, knowest the hearts of the children of men);

When thy people Israel are smitten down before the enemy, because they have sinned against thee; if they turn again to thee, and confess thy name, and pray and make supplication unto thee in this house:

that thine eyes may be open toward this house day and night, even toward the place whereof thou hast said that thou wouldest put thy name there; to hearken unto the prayer which thy servant shall pray toward this place.

If there be in the land famine, if there be pestilence, if there be blasting or mildew, locust or caterpillar; if their enemy besiege them in the land of their cities; whatsoever plague, whatsoever sickness there be;

Take ye heed before him, and hearken unto his voice; provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgression: for my name is in him.

An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt- offerings, and thy peace- offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in every place where I record my name I will come unto thee and I will bless thee.

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
