The Lord aroused against Jehoram the hostility of the Philistines and of the Arabs who lived near the Cushites.

The Lord stirred up the anger of the Philistines against Jehoram. He also stirred up the anger of the Arabs. They lived near the people of Cush.

And the Lord stirred up against Jehoram the anger of the Philistines and of the Arabians who are near the Ethiopians.

Then the Lord stirred up the Philistines and the Arabs, who lived near the Ethiopians, to attack Jehoram.

The LORD roused the spirit of the Philistines and the Arabs who lived near the Cushites to attack Jehoram.

Then the Lord stirred up against Jehoram the spirit of the Philistines and the Arabs who bordered the Ethiopians;

Moreover the Lord stirred up against Jehoram the spirit of the Philistines and the Arabians who were near the Ethiopians.

And Jehovah stirred up against Jehoram the spirit of the Philistines, and of the Arabians that are beside the Ethiopians:

The Lord put it into the mind of the Philistines and the Arabs who live near the Cushites to attack Jehoram.

So the Lord said to Solomon,“ Since this is your attitude and you have not kept my covenant and my decrees, which I commanded you, I will most certainly tear the kingdom away from you and give it to one of your subordinates. (niv)

Now let my lord the king listen to his servant’s words. If the Lord has incited you against me, then may he accept an offering. If, however, people have done it, may they be cursed before the Lord! Again the anger of the Lord burned against Israel, and he incited David against them, saying,“ Go and take a census of Israel and Judah.” (niv)

When a trumpet sounds in a city, do not the people tremble? When disaster comes to a city, has not the Lord caused it? (niv)

Then the family heads of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests and Levites— everyone whose heart God had moved— prepared to go up and build the house of the Lord in Jerusalem. (niv)
