偕以色列王亞哈子約藍、往基列之喇末、與亞蘭王哈泄戰、約藍為亞蘭人所敗、被傷遘疾、歸耶斯烈求醫、時猶大王約蘭子亞薩哩亞、至彼問疾。

從亞哈家之言、偕以色列王亞哈子約蘭、往基列之拉末、與亞蘭王哈謝戰、亞哈子約蘭在拉末與亞蘭王哈謝戰時、亞蘭人擊約蘭而傷之、約蘭遂返耶斯列就醫、猶大王約蘭子亞撒利雅、即亞哈謝別名下耶斯烈、見之問疾、

He also followed their counsel when he went with Joram son of Ahab king of Israel to wage war against Hazael king of Aram at Ramoth Gilead. The Arameans wounded Joram;

He also followed their advice when he joined forces with Joram, the king of Israel. They went to war against Hazael at Ramoth Gilead. Joram was the son of Ahab. Hazael was king of Aram. The soldiers of Aram wounded Joram.

He even followed their counsel and went with Jehoram the son of Ahab king of Israel to make war against Hazael king of Syria at Ramoth-gilead. And the Syrians wounded Joram,

Following their evil advice, Ahaziah joined Joram, the son of King Ahab of Israel, in his war against King Hazael of Aram at Ramoth gilead. When the Arameans wounded Joram in the battle,

He followed their advice and joined Ahab’s son King Joram of Israel in a battle against King Hazael of Syria at Ramoth Gilead in which the Syrians defeated Joram.

He also followed their counsel, and went with Jehoram the son of Ahab king of Israel to war against Hazael king of Syria at Ramoth Gilead, and the Syrians wounded Joram.

不從惡人的計謀，不站罪人的道路，不坐褻慢人的座位，

車兵長看見約沙法便說，這必是以色列王，就轉過去與他爭戰。約沙法一呼喊，耶和華就幫助他，神又感動他們離開他。

伯沙撒啊，你是他的兒子，你雖知道這一切，你心仍不自卑，

以色列王對臣僕說：「你們不知道基列的拉末是屬我們的嗎？我們豈可靜坐不動，不從亞蘭王手裏奪回來嗎？」

先見哈拿尼的兒子耶戶出來迎接約沙法王，對他說：「你豈當幫助惡人，愛那恨惡耶和華的人呢？因此耶和華的忿怒臨到你。

他與亞哈的兒子約蘭同往基列的拉末去，與亞蘭王哈薛爭戰。亞蘭人打傷了約蘭，約蘭王回到耶斯列，醫治在拉末與亞蘭王哈薛打仗的時候所受的傷。猶大王約蘭的兒子亞哈謝因為亞哈的兒子約蘭病了，就下到耶斯列看望他。

因為你守暗利的惡規，行亞哈家一切所行的，順從他們的計謀；因此，我必使你荒涼，使你的居民令人嗤笑，你們也必擔當我民的羞辱。

於是哈薛用四十個駱駝，馱着大馬士革的各樣美物為禮物，去見以利沙。到了他那裏，站在他面前，說：「你兒子亞蘭王便‧哈達打發我來見你，他問說：『我這病能好不能好？』」

以色列王亞哈問猶大王約沙法說：「你肯同我去攻取基列的拉末嗎？」他回答說：「你我不分彼此，我的民與你的民一樣，必與你同去爭戰。」
