王站在自己的位上，在耶和华面前立约，要尽心尽性跟从耶和华，遵守他的诫命、法度、律例，实行这书上所记这约的话；

人不知道自己的定期。鱼被险恶的网圈住，鸟被罗网捉住，祸患的时刻忽然临到，世人陷在其中也是如此。

撒督祭司从帐幕中取了盛膏油的角来，膏所罗门。他们就吹角，众百姓都说：“所罗门王万岁！”众百姓跟随他上来，吹着笛，大大欢呼，地被他们的声音震裂。

所以，你这评断人的人哪，无论你是谁，都无可推诿。你在什么事上评断人，就在什么事上定自己的罪。因你这评断人的，自己所做的却和别人一样。我们知道这样做的人，神必公平地审判他。

义人增多，民就喜乐；恶人掌权，民就叹息。

耶和华吩咐摩西说：“你要用银子做两枝号筒，把它们锤出来，给你用来召集会众，拔营起行。吹号的时候，全会众要到你那里，聚集在会幕的门口。若只吹一枝，众领袖，就是以色列部队的官长，要到你那里聚集。你们大声吹号的时候，东边安营的要起行。第二次大声吹号的时候，南边安营的要起行。起行的时候，要大声吹号；但召集会众的时候，你们要吹号，却不要吹出大声。亚伦子孙作祭司的要吹这号筒，作为你们世世代代永远的定例。当你们在自己的土地上，与欺压你们的敌人打仗时，要用号筒吹出大声。你们就在耶和华—你们的神面前得蒙记念，也必蒙拯救脱离仇敌。在快乐的日子，节期和初一，献燔祭与平安祭的时候，你们要吹号筒，在你们的神面前作为纪念。我是耶和华—你们的神。”

他们在那里大大害怕，因为神在义人的族类中。

大卫吩咐利未人的领袖派他们歌唱的弟兄用琴瑟和钹的乐器奏乐，欢欢喜喜地大声歌颂。于是利未人派约珥的儿子希幔和他弟兄中比利家的儿子亚萨，以及他们同族弟兄米拉利子孙里古沙雅的儿子以探。其次还有跟随他们的弟兄撒迦利雅、便‧雅薛、示米拉末、耶歇、乌尼、以利押、比拿雅、玛西雅、玛他提雅、以利斐利户、弥克尼雅，以及门口的守卫俄别‧以东和耶利。歌唱的希幔、亚萨和以探，敲铜钹，声音响亮；撒迦利雅、雅薛、示米拉末、耶歇、乌尼、以利押、玛西雅、比拿雅鼓瑟，调用女音；玛他提雅、以利斐利户、弥克尼雅、俄别‧以东、耶利、亚撒西雅用琴指挥，调用第八。基拿尼雅是利未人圣咏团的领袖，又教导人唱歌，因为他精通此事。

百姓手里拿着食物和角；其余的以色列人，基甸都打发他们各自回到自己的帐棚，只留下这三百人。米甸营在他下边的平原上。

他们附近的人，以及以萨迦、西布伦、拿弗他利人，都将食物，许多面饼、无花果饼、干葡萄、酒、油，用驴、骆驼、骡子、牛驮来，又带了许多的牛和羊来，因为在以色列中充满了欢乐。

约兰用手转过车来逃跑，对亚哈谢说：“亚哈谢啊，反了！”

王站在柱子旁边，在耶和华面前立约，要尽心尽性跟从耶和华，遵守他的诫命、法度、律例，实行这书上所写这约的话。全体百姓都愿遵守所立的约。

亚哈见了以利亚，就说：“真的是你吗？你这使以色列遭殃的人！”以利亚说：“使以色列遭殃的不是我，而是你和你的父家，因为你们离弃耶和华的诫命，去随从巴力。

大卫和所有抬约柜的利未人，以及圣咏团的领袖基拿尼雅和歌唱的人，都穿着细麻布外袍；大卫另外穿着细麻布以弗得。

我和所有跟随我的人吹角的时候，你们也要在营的四围吹角，喊叫：‘为耶和华！为基甸！’”基甸和跟随他的一百人，在半夜之初换岗哨的时候来到营旁。他们就吹角，打破手中的瓶；三队的人都吹角，打破瓶子。他们左手拿着火把，右手拿着吹的角，喊叫：“耶和华和基甸的刀！”他们围着军营，各人站在自己的地方；全营的人都逃窜，一面喊，一面逃跑。三百人就吹角，耶和华使全营的人用刀自相击杀。全营的人逃往西利拉的伯‧哈示他，一直逃到靠近他巴的亚伯‧米何拉。

他们各人就急忙把自己的衣服铺在台阶的上层，在耶户的下面；他们吹角，说：“耶户作王了！”

义人享福，全城喜乐；恶人灭亡，人人欢呼。

示巴尼、约沙法、拿坦业、亚玛赛、撒迦利雅、比拿亚、以利以谢众祭司在神的约柜前吹号。俄别‧以东和耶希亚也是约柜的守卫。
