Then in a night vision the mystery was revealed to Daniel. So Daniel praised the God of heaven,

Even if you go and fight bravely in battle, God will defeat you before the enemy. God is capable of helping or defeating.”

What am I going to do with you, O Ephraim? What am I going to do with you, O Judah? For your faithfulness is as fleeting as the morning mist; it disappears as quickly as dawn’s dew!

However, I have heard that you are able to provide interpretations and to decipher knotty problems. Now if you are able to read this writing and make known to me its interpretation, you will wear purple and have a golden collar around your neck and be third ruler in the kingdom.”

So Pharaoh asked his officials,“ Can we find a man like Joseph, one in whom the Spirit of God is present?”

These are the ones sown on rocky ground: As soon as they hear the word, they receive it with joy.But they have no root in themselves and do not endure. Then, when trouble or persecution comes because of the word, immediately they fall away.

“ Now, my son, may the LORD be with you! May you succeed and build a temple for the LORD your God, just as he announced you would.
