He stationed the Levites in the temple of the Lord with cymbals, harps and lyres in the way prescribed by David and Gad the king’s seer and Nathan the prophet; this was commanded by the Lord through his prophets.

Hezekiah stationed the Levites in the Lord’ s temple. They had cymbals, harps and lyres. They did everything in the way King David, his prophet Gad, and Nathan the prophet had required. The Lord had given commands about all these things through his prophets.

And he stationed the Levites in the house of the Lord with cymbals, harps, and lyres, according to the commandment of David and of Gad the king’s seer and of Nathan the prophet, for the commandment was from the Lord through his prophets.

King Hezekiah then stationed the Levites at the Temple of the Lord with cymbals, lyres, and harps. He obeyed all the commands that the Lord had given to King David through Gad, the king’s seer, and the prophet Nathan.

又遵其父大衛之例、定祭司之班次、以供役事、又定利未人之職任、使掌頌讚、亦在祭司前供事、循每日所宜、又立閽人、循其班次、以守各門、是乃上帝僕大衛所命、

謳歌者、有利未族長、居於倉舍、晝夜供役、無他職任、

又立利未人、供役於耶和華匱前、讚美稱謝、頌揚以色列之上帝耶和華、首亞薩、次撒迦利雅、及雅薛、示米拉末、耶歇、瑪他提雅、以利押、比拿雅、俄別以東、耶利鼓瑟鳴琴、亞薩擊鈸發聲、

王謂先知拿單曰、我居香柏之室、而上帝之匱乃在帳中、拿單曰、爾其從心所欲而行、蓋耶和華偕爾、是夜耶和華諭拿單曰、

耶和華遣拿單見大衛、遂詣之、曰、有二人居於一邑、一富一貧、富者牛羊甚多、貧者無所有、惟一小牝羔、乃彼所購而養者、與彼及子同長、食其食、飲其杯、臥於其懷、視若己女、有旅人詣富者、富者惜其牛羊、不以供客、乃取貧者之羔、備而供之、大衛甚怒其人、謂拿單曰、我指維生之耶和華以誓、行此者宜死、必償其羔四倍、緣彼行此事、無憐憫也、○拿單謂大衛曰、爾即其人也、以色列之上帝耶和華云、我膏爾為以色列王、援爾於掃羅手、

大衛曰、此諸式、乃由耶和華手所圖、而得識之、

且以感神而得之式予之、即耶和華室之院、四周之室上帝室之府庫、及聖物府庫之式、
