爾與爾祖、諸王牧伯、及斯土庶民、焚香於猶大諸邑、與耶路撒冷街衢、耶和華豈不記憶之、思念之、

爾上帝耶和華導爾於途、而爾離之、豈非自召斯禍乎、

自我列祖迄今、世濟其惡、因我罪戾、我與我王祭司、付於列國王手、為其殺戮、虜掠攘奪、蒙恥含羞、有如今日、

我列祖激天上上帝之怒、彼付之於迦勒底人、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒之手、毀斯室、虜其民至巴比倫、

主歟、願依爾仁義、使爾忿怒、轉離爾邑耶路撒冷、即爾聖山、今因我儕之罪、及我列祖之愆、耶路撒冷與爾民、為四周之人所辱、

祭大馬色即擊之者之神、曰、亞蘭王之神既助之、我亦祭之、俾其助我、然斯神使彼與以色列眾偕亡、亞哈斯集上帝室之器碎之、扃閉室門、在耶路撒冷諸隅築壇、在猶大諸邑作崇邱、焚香於他神、激其列祖之上帝耶和華怒、

循以色列諸王之道、為巴力鑄像、焚香於欣嫩子谷、以火焚其子女、從異邦可憎之事、即耶和華於以色列人前、所逐諸族之事、且於崇邱、山岡之上、綠樹之下、獻祭焚香、

我民作惡有二、我為活水之源、彼乃棄我、而自掘井、厥井破裂、不能蓄水、

耶和華歟、爾為我力、我之保障、我難中之避所、列邦必自地極而至、曰、我祖所承者、莫非妄誕虛偽無益之物、

汝其往哉、為我與以色列及猶大之遺民、以此書之言、詢於耶和華、因我列祖不守耶和華之言、不遵此書所載而行、故耶和華向我、洩忿甚烈、

愛父母踰於我者、不宜乎我也、愛子女踰於我者、不宜乎我也、

每曰、若我在我列祖時、必不與於流先知之血、如是、爾自證為殺先知者之裔矣、其盈爾祖之量哉、

我上帝歟、乃至大至能、可畏之上帝、踐約施恩、凡我列王牧伯、祭司先知、列祖庶民、自亞述王迄於今日、所遭患難、祈勿視為微小、
