“你要吩咐以色列人给你拿来纯橄榄油，作点灯之用，使灯常常亮着。在会幕遮掩约柜的幔子外，亚伦要负责照看灯，使灯从晚上到早晨一直亮着。这是你们世世代代都要遵守的律例。亚伦要常常照看这些放在纯金灯台上的灯。“你要用细面粉烤十二个饼，每个饼用两公斤细面粉。你要把饼摆成两行放在耶和华面前的纯金桌子上，每行六个，每行饼上放一些纯乳香，象征这些饼是献给耶和华的火祭。每逢安息日，要定期把饼摆在耶和华面前。这是以色列人要永远遵守的约。

万军之耶和华说：“我真希望你们当中有人把殿门关上，免得你们在我祭坛上枉然点火。因为我不喜悦你们，也不接纳你们的祭物。”

亚哈斯王拆掉盆座的镶板，搬走盆，将铜海从铜牛背上搬下来，放在铺石的地上。为了亚述王，他挪走耶和华殿里为安息日而盖的走廊，封闭了王从外面进耶和华殿的入口。

希西迦元年一月，他开启耶和华殿的门，重新修理。
