In everything that he undertook in the service of God’s temple and in obedience to the law and the commands, he sought his God and worked wholeheartedly. And so he prospered.

He tried to obey his God. He worked for him with all his heart. That’s the way he worked in everything he did to serve God’s temple. He obeyed the law. He followed the Lord’ s commands. So he had success.

And every work that he undertook in the service of the house of God and in accordance with the law and the commandments, seeking his God, he did with all his heart, and prospered.

In all that he did in the service of the Temple of God and in his efforts to follow God’s laws and commands, Hezekiah sought his God wholeheartedly. As a result, he was very successful.

He was diligent in every deed that he began in the service of God’s temple, in the instruction and the commands, in order to seek his God, and he prospered.

Every work which he began in the service of the house of God in the Law and in the commandment, seeking his God, he did with all his heart and prospered.

他喜爱的是耶和华的律法，他昼夜默诵的也是耶和华的律法。他像一棵树，栽在溪水旁，按时结果子，叶子总不枯干；他所作的一切，尽都顺利。

凡是你手可作的，都当尽力去作；因为在你所要去的阴间里，既没有工作，又没有筹谋；没有知识，也没有智慧。

所以你们要谨守这约的话，并且遵行，好使你们在所行的一切事上都亨通。

这样，耶和华必坚立他所说有关我的话，说：‘如果你的子孙谨慎自己所行的，一心一意、诚诚实实行在我面前，就不断有人坐以色列的王位了。’

他对犹大人说：“我们要建造这些城，在四周筑墙，建造城楼，安设城门，制作门闩。这地还属于我们，是因为我们寻求耶和华我们的神；我们既然寻求他，他就使我们四境平安。”于是他们兴工建造，事事顺利。

你只要坚强，十分勇敢，谨守遵行我仆人摩西吩咐你的一切律法，不可偏离左右，好使你无论到哪里去，都可以亨通。这律法书不可离开你的口，要昼夜默诵，好使你谨守遵行书中所记的一切；这样，你的道路就必顺利，你必一路亨通。

看哪，我辛辛苦苦为耶和华的殿预备了金子三千四百公吨，银子三万四千公吨，铜和铁多得无法可称；我又预备了木材和石头；你还可以增添。

“以色列啊，现在耶和华你的神向你要的是什么呢？只要你敬畏耶和华你的神，行在他的一切道路上，爱他，一心一意事奉耶和华你的神，

第四日，他们聚集在比拉迦谷，在那里称颂耶和华，因此那地方名叫比拉迦谷，直到今日。

“所以，凡听见我这些话又遵行的，就像聪明的人，把自己的房子盖在磐石上。雨淋、水冲、风吹，摇撼那房子，房子却不倒塌，因为建基在磐石上。凡听见我这些话却不遵行的，就像愚蠢的人，把自己的房子盖在沙土上。雨淋、水冲、风吹，摇撼那房子，房子就倒塌了，并且倒塌得很厉害。”
