In everything that he undertook in the service of God’s temple and in obedience to the law and the commands, he sought his God and worked wholeheartedly. And so he prospered.

He tried to obey his God. He worked for him with all his heart. That’s the way he worked in everything he did to serve God’s temple. He obeyed the law. He followed the Lord’ s commands. So he had success.

And every work that he undertook in the service of the house of God and in accordance with the law and the commandments, seeking his God, he did with all his heart, and prospered.

In all that he did in the service of the Temple of God and in his efforts to follow God’s laws and commands, Hezekiah sought his God wholeheartedly. As a result, he was very successful.

He was diligent in every deed that he began in the service of God’s temple, in the instruction and the commands, in order to seek his God, and he prospered.

惟上帝之國與義是求、則此物自加諸爾、

以耶和華之律法為悅、思之維之、夜以繼日。譬彼林木、植於溪旁、隨時結果、其葉青蒼、百事允臧。

且爾竭心思、為所當為、轉瞬之間、即歸於土、在彼無工作、無計謀、無智慧。

故當守此約之言、遵行弗失、則凡所為可納福祉。

昔耶和華有應許、若我子孫所為謹恪、一心一意行於其前、真實毋妄、則不絶我嗣、踐以色列國位。如爾恪守斯命、則其前言必不食也。

王告猶大人曰、我曾求我上帝耶和華、賜四方平康、國家無事、當及時築城垣、建樓、作門楗、百姓樂從、國以艾安。

故爾當盡心盡意、崇爾上帝耶和華、爾其興作、建爾上帝耶和華聖所、舁其法匱、攜其聖器、入爾所建之殿、為籲耶和華名之所。

惟爾強志壯心、守我僕摩西所諭之律法、不偏於左、不偏於右、則不論所往、俾爾納福。律例之書、當口誦不輟、晝夜思維、遵行所載、可得坦途、而蒙福祉。

壯爾志、強爾心、毋畏葸、敬承耶和華命摩西傳以色列族之法度禮儀、俾爾納福。

以色列族乎、爾上帝耶和華、使爾所為何事、第畏爾上帝、行由其道、一心一意、愛之事之、

越四日集於比喇加谷、頌讚耶和華、故稱谷曰比喇加、迄今其名猶存、

聞吾言而行之者、譬彼智人、建屋磐上、雨降潦行、風吹撞屋、而不傾覆、因基磐上、聞吾言而不行者、譬彼愚人、建屋沙上、雨降潦行、風吹撞屋、遂以傾覆、而傾覆者大也、○
