Hath not the same Hezekiah taken away his high places and his altars, and commanded Judah and Jerusalem, saying, Ye shall worship before one altar, and burn incense upon it?

Did not Hezekiah himself remove this god’s high places and altars, saying to Judah and Jerusalem,‘ You must worship before one altar and burn sacrifices on it’?

Didn’t Hezekiah himself remove your god’s high places and altars? Didn’t Hezekiah say to the people of Judah and Jerusalem,“ You must worship at one altar. You must burn sacrifices on it”?

Has not this same Hezekiah taken away his high places and his altars and commanded Judah and Jerusalem,“ Before one altar you shall worship, and on it you shall burn your sacrifices”?

Don’t you realize that Hezekiah is the very person who destroyed all the Lord’s shrines and altars? He commanded Judah and Jerusalem to worship only at the altar at the Temple and to offer sacrifices on it alone.

Didn’t Hezekiah himself remove his high places and his altars and say to Judah and Jerusalem,“ You must worship before one altar, and you must burn incense on it”?

Is it not the same Hezekiah who removed His high places and His altars, and said to Judah and Jerusalem,“ You shall worship before one altar, and on it you shall burn incense”?

Has not the same Hezekiah taken away His high places and His altars, and commanded Judah and Jerusalem, saying,“ You shall worship before one altar and burn incense on it”?

Hezekiah is the one who eliminated the LORD’s high places and altars and then told Judah and Jerusalem,“ At one altar you must worship and offer sacrifices.”

Hasn’t the same Hezekiah taken away his high places and his altars, and commanded Judah and Jerusalem, saying,‘ You shall worship before one altar, and you shall burn incense on it?’

Now when all this was finished, all Israel that were present went out to the cities of Judah, and brake the images in pieces, and cut down the groves, and threw down the high places and the altars out of all Judah and Benjamin, in Ephraim also and Manasseh, until they had utterly destroyed them all. Then all the children of Israel returned, every man to his possession, into their own cities.

And thou shalt make an altar to burn incense upon:[ of] shittim wood shalt thou make it.A cubit[ shall be] the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof; foursquare shall it be: and two cubits[ shall be] the height thereof: the horns thereof[ shall be] of the same.And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, the top thereof, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns thereof; and thou shalt make unto it a crown of gold round about.And two golden rings shalt thou make to it under the crown of it, by the two corners thereof, upon the two sides of it shalt thou make[ it]; and they shall be for places for the staves to bear it withal.And thou shalt make the staves[ of] shittim wood, and overlay them with gold.And thou shalt put it before the vail that[ is] by the ark of the testimony, before the mercy seat that[ is] over the testimony, where I will meet with thee.

He removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut down the groves, and brake in pieces the brasen serpent that Moses had made: for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he called it Nehushtan.

But if thou say to me, We trust in the LORD our God:[ is it] not he, whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah hath taken away, and said to Judah and to Jerusalem, Ye shall worship before this altar?

And he put the golden altar in the tent of the congregation before the vail:And he burnt sweet incense thereon; as the LORD commanded Moses.And he set up the hanging[ at] the door of the tabernacle.And he put the altar of burnt offering[ by] the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meat offering; as the LORD commanded Moses.

And thou shalt make an altar[ of] shittim wood, five cubits long, and five cubits broad; the altar shall be foursquare: and the height thereof[ shall be] three cubits.And thou shalt make the horns of it upon the four corners thereof: his horns shall be of the same: and thou shalt overlay it with brass.And thou shalt make his pans to receive his ashes, and his shovels, and his basons, and his fleshhooks, and his firepans: all the vessels thereof thou shalt make[ of] brass.And thou shalt make for it a grate of network[ of] brass; and upon the net shalt thou make four brasen rings in the four corners thereof.And thou shalt put it under the compass of the altar beneath, that the net may be even to the midst of the altar.And thou shalt make staves for the altar, staves[ of] shittim wood, and overlay them with brass.And the staves shall be put into the rings, and the staves shall be upon the two sides of the altar, to bear it.Hollow with boards shalt thou make it: as it was shewed thee in the mount, so shall they make[ it].

Take heed to thyself that thou offer not thy burnt offerings in every place that thou seest:But in the place which the LORD shall choose in one of thy tribes, there thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, and there thou shalt do all that I command thee.

Only thy holy things which thou hast, and thy vows, thou shalt take, and go unto the place which the LORD shall choose:And thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, the flesh and the blood, upon the altar of the LORD thy God: and the blood of thy sacrifices shall be poured out upon the altar of the LORD thy God, and thou shalt eat the flesh.

But if ye say unto me, We trust in the LORD our God:[ is] not that he, whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah hath taken away, and hath said to Judah and Jerusalem, Ye shall worship before this altar in Jerusalem?

Moreover he made an altar of brass, twenty cubits the length thereof, and twenty cubits the breadth thereof, and ten cubits the height thereof.

And Solomon made all the vessels that[ pertained] unto the house of the LORD: the altar of gold, and the table of gold, whereupon the shewbread[ was],
